Placements are very good here. The main reason students join this college is placement. The overall placement percentage in 2021-22 was 97 percent with average package of ?14.72 LPA. Each department has a placement percentage above 90 and the highest package was offered to 4 students by atlassian of 80 LPA.

For the 7th semester, students will be eligible and around 200+ companies visited roughly not sure about the number and the highest is 80 LPA percentage of getting placed is 92 and after getting a degree I want to do a software job with a decent package.

The placement of the college is really nice. The student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Many companies like Amazon, Zs, Credence, and Tata visit our campus for core and non-core. For the last year, around 90% of the students got placed. The average package was around 14 LPA and the highest was 80lpa.

placement in this college is very good. students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. some of the companies that have visited the college are google, Microsoft, oracle, etc. the highest package in civil engineering is 28 lac and the average package for civil engineering is 9 lac. almost 90 percent of the students get placed in the civil branch. after getting the degree I have decided to opt for placement.

placements of the college are very good. placements start as soon as the students enter the 7th semester. many companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Google, etc visit the college for non-core. also companies like lnt visit for the core. in the civil branch, the highest package is 28 lac and the average package was 9 lac. for this current year, almost 80 percent of the students are placed. After getting the degree I will take placement.

Placement Experience:
placement is the main attraction of the college. we have very good placements in all core as well as non-core branches .in the civil branch almost 90 percent of the student get placed with an average package of 9 lakh. the highest package till now for this year is 28 lakh. I have decided to take placements after college.

The placements in the college are so good. There is an average package of 14 lakhs overall. For ece it's 18 lakhs. Now there is running the highest package of 80 LPA. But you can get all these packages on the non-core side only.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
- EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL
- ME: Tata Motors, L&T, Tata Steel, BPCL
- MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel
- CE: Simplex, L&T
- PIE: Tata Hitachi, JK Tyre, JK Paper, Tata Motors
FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
