Overall the placement is just awesome as you can guess from the above data. Here abundant core companies come. I personally want to go to a tech company after graduation. If you want to prepare for any civil service exam or CAT then also the environment is very good for studying

Most prominent recruiters include Microsoft, Amazon, DE Shaw, Samsung, One Plus, Paytm, Ola, HP, TATA, Adani, Oracle, etc. This your nearby 400 offers are made with the highest package of 37.5 LPA given to a CSE student by DE Shaw and the 2nd highest of 30 LPA is given to an ECE student by Amazon. The average package of CSE is nearby 15 LPA and ECE is 11.37 LPA. Core placement is not good here. Overall average package is around 7.5 to 8 LPA. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of according to my JEE score this course was the course I can get. The student-faculty ratio is 3:100. Faculty here are highly qualified from the top colleges of the world and all had done Ph.D. They have vast knowledge in their specialization and their teaching method is also very good. they explain everything nicely. Every year there are 2 semesters and it's really difficult here to pass.

NIT Jamshedpur: 1 Answered Question

What is your review about NIT Jamshedpur?

Megha Rohilla
Arjita PathakB.Tech (Hons.) from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur (2018)

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.

Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.

Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.

Academics

  • The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
  • Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
  • The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.

Placement Reports:

A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.

  • CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
  • ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
  • EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL
  • ME: Tata Motors, L&T, Tata Steel, BPCL
  • MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel
  • CE: Simplex, L&T
  • PIE: Tata Hitachi, JK Tyre, JK Paper, Tata Motors

FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA

Extracurricular Activities:

The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.

This is the in-depth scenario of the institute.
