- I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
- Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
- Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs
Dislikes
- There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
- Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
- There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

As this college is near sea so weather here is very occurd so be prepared. The college provides best cuisine for North students so that they can inculcate with there studies. My overall experience of this college is very good and knowledgeable.

Placement Experience:
IT average is 11.2lacs and placement is 90% and above and there was a gradual increase in average salary every year and even college supports learning German(paid) for helping for study abroad options and IAS TRAINING institute nearby for students to try IAS. Overall placements are the scenario is good than other private colleges and around 350+ companies visited the campus last year.

Placement Experience:
During our batch, the placements were very bad. Only 79% of the students got placed. And there is no placement training given prior to the placements. We expected we would be trained before the placement sessions. But, we had to manage everything on our own. The average package was around 10 LPA.

Only block timing are the issues. Other things are very good. We have a private beach in college which is exclusively for NITK students.
Campus is very large devided in two halves.
Mangalore is only 20 km from the college.

Placement Experience:
There is a good placement statistics as per package is high almost 100% students got placed, major companies like Microsoft, Google etc. Average package is around 8 lakh.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.
The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.
NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
