VTU Belagavi Admission 2027 is for the courses taught at the university's own campus, Jnana Sangama in Belagavi. VTU does not hold its own entrance test for these seats. All 600 B.Tech seats are filled by KEA through KCET 2027. MBA, MCA and M.Tech seats are filled by KEA through PGCET 2027, and M.Tech gives first preference to a valid GATE score. Ph.D admission is through the VTU Eligibility Test for Research, followed by an interview. The first year B.Tech fee for the 2026 batch was INR 52,100. MBA, MCA and M.Tech students paid INR 31,880 in the first year. Most seats are open only to Karnataka students who meet a KEA eligibility clause.
VTU Belagavi B.Tech Admission 2027
VTU Belagavi offers B.Tech in seven branches at Jnana Sangama, with 600 seats in all. Every seat is a government seat, and KEA fills them through KCET counselling. There is no management quota and no separate VTU form. KEA also adds 30 more seats for poor students, where the tuition fee is waived.
VTU Belagavi B.Tech Eligibility 2027
You must pass Class 12 with English, Physics and Maths. Your third subject can be Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics or Computer Science. You need 45% in total in these subjects, or 40% if you are SC, ST, Category-I or OBC from Karnataka. To claim a government seat, you also need a KEA eligibility clause, such as seven years of study in Karnataka.

For the 2026 batch, you paid INR 47,100 to KEA when you took the seat. This covered the tuition fee of INR 24,190, the VTU fee of INR 12,320 and other fees of INR 10,590. You then paid a skill lab fee of INR 5,000 at VTU when you joined. So your first year cost INR 52,100 in all.

The MBA at VTU Belagavi has 240 seats, the largest PG batch on the campus. Admission is based on your PGCET 2027 MBA rank, and KEA fills the seats. There is no group discussion and no interview. For the 2026 batch, the first year fee was INR 31,880.
VTU Belagavi MBA Eligibility 2027
You need a bachelor's degree of at least three years with 50% in total. Every subject counts, including languages, in all years. If you are SC, ST or Category-I from Karnataka, you need 45%. KEA does not round off your marks, so 49.9% is not 50%. If you are from outside Karnataka, you can pick only management seats that colleges give back to KEA.

The MCA at VTU Belagavi has 180 seats. Admission is based on the PGCET 2027 MCA paper, and KEA fills every seat. You do not need a computer degree if you studied Maths in Class 12 or in college. The first year fee is the same as for MBA.

VTU Belagavi Ph.D Admission 2027
VTU admits Ph.D scholars once a year through the VTU Eligibility Test for Research, called VTU-ETR. The 2026 test decides who starts in 2027. After the test, you face a short online interview and then pick a research centre and a supervisor. Full time scholars in the university departments can get the Jnana Yaana fellowship.
