Kerala University Ph.D Zoology: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Candidates with UGC-NET/JRF or CSIR-NET qualifications have a clear advantage as they are directly called for the interview, bypassing the written RET. For candidates without these qualifications, scoring well in both Paper I and Paper II of the RET (minimum 50% in each) is essential.

Ans. Yes, Kerala University allows Part-time Ph.D. registration for employed candidates. You will need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer confirming that you are permitted to pursue studies on a part-time basis, will be relieved for course work if required, and that your official duties allow sufficient time for research.
