- They have good teaching skills and exam guidance and suggestions are very good
- Festival celebrations are awesome and we enjoy it to the extreme level.
- There not much of an increase in fee as far as i know and there are so many scholarship and aids from government and non government parties.
Dislikes
- The delay of semester exams and second semester is very fastly going on
- My college principle is a very bad character no programs very bad colleg but university college is a campus and programs
- Examination are alredy disliked and students are some getting tired by writing exams and all this was unlocked by the students of every colleges

My specified course was in clinical psychology and the course is good .the improvements needed is we need more practical training for the same.the timing of exams are mostly in morning and the exams are being conducted properly

As I want to become a sports analyst it is important for me to know about management and how things work.With this course i can take about business and management and improve my presentation skills and work on my speaking

- It is women friendly campus so we can get many opportunities for showcasing our talent and skills
- As it is women's college we are able to attend many beneficial sessions on women empowerment and on other areas too
- In our department, from this year onwards we at last got a studio for doing our works
Dislikes
- There are many restrictions and many other processes to get or avail anything
- As a hosteler , I have felt many discomfort. The food which is served there is sometimes good and sometimes it is the worst . Mostly it will be worse
- In the case of faculty, i have also had a bad experience from them but I really had to cope up to finish my degree
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our curriculum is all good and cover many range of topics which are mostly important and we also had may revision sessions but are very few and as a suggestion i would like some of the teachers to improve the way they take the classes . Sometime at the end of the semester they will hurry up and finish the portions so fastly. We also have 1/2 internals in each semester.

- The overall atmosphere there is amazing. On the top of a small hill, surrounded by trees, it is a very good place for nature enthusiasts.
- The faculty is well knowledgable and experienced. They are all prominent people in their respective fields.
- Academics is given the priority. For anyone who want to 'study', prajyoti is definitely the best choice. The library & faculty is 100% helpful.
Dislikes
- We could use some more celebrations. We feel like we get to enjoy less programs compared to other colleges.
- Strictness. The college is not very strict but it sometimes feel like a school.
- Not at all satisfied with the number of days they are allowing for college tour

Placement Experience:
Placement cell is avilable in the college for all the courses except BSc psychology. Final semester students are eligible for placements. Companies like vipro, deloitte, piramal finance etc offers placements here. The average package is 3L per annum.

- The teachers are very friendly and nice...
- The surroundings are neet and clean. Such a greenish view
- Lectures are taking well and understandable

- Programmes and other cultural activities are very limited
- Actually there is no free time after college
- We can't leave the campus on our free will
Placement Experience:
We can apply for placement after 3rd year. Placements are very good most of the graduates are getting placed in good companies. The Average packages are from 3.2 lpa upto 9 lpa for freshers according to the data it's excellent.

- Our college have a large campus which is good for many activities other than study.
- Our department have a specialised computer lab
- Library is very well equipped with manu useful books for our studies.
Dislikes
- Practical study very less as my course is a professional one.
- There is no any type of IV in our course
- Boys to girls ratio is so bad here in our class
Placement Experience:
Placements will be started from 3rd semester for masters students and 5th semester for bachelors students. This year about 300 students have placed in various companies. In my class 3 students have got placements in various companies. One even got placed in federal Bank having a salary of 12 lakh per annum.

- Very Vast campus and good chance of social interactions.Grounds,indoors, Gymnasium and other Sports facilities are good.
- There is many clubs which features Empowerment,Arts and Sports Skills,NSS&NCC is also active.
- Quality of infrastructure and basic amenities is the best. One of the biggest library according to other kerala colleges is available in our campus.Classes and labs are well maintained and smart technology.
Dislikes
- small road infront of main entrance so there is always Rush and crowded.
- College Hostels are very pathetic and food is not good below average.
- In campus there is no free wifi connectivity
Placement Experience:
From the last Semester onwards students get to chance in campus placements and interviews done by various Comapnies including it comapnies like TCS etc. Only 15-20% students got placements. Companies offers many packages and starting packages is from 150000 pa.

- Library was super. All needed books was there. There is no need of buying syllabus book seperately.
- Good lab infrastructure. All equipment and devices are there also we can do projects
- Girls is more there.i think ratio is double than men

- Placement cell is need to improve more and more

Its a best subject and also not have other colleges these subject.i have intrested in this topic so loved it. Practical are some time tough and the exam also but the subject is intresting also job oriented

- College compound is very good that we forget to enter into class
- There are special classes for attending interviews

- Teachers are not friendly to everyone. They discriminates on the basis of marks
- Office staffs have a worst behavior. They do not listen carefully
- There is strict for dress code which dress code was traditional
Placement Experience:
The average salary that offered by the different companies is around three lakhs rupees. The highest package it offered is twelve lakhs. Eighty percentage of students are placed through campus placement. Now iam perusing Masters degree

- Uniform for students and blazers for teachers. Shows standard and uniformity
- Digital classroom for Post Graduate students.
- Good quality infrastructures for college, school, Hostel
Dislikes
- Less exposure for science field courses.
- Mess fee is more than expected. Even though we go home most weekends no amount is reduced
- 5400 for mess is too much. We dont eat much for this amount

I would like to work in clinical field for psychology therefore considered choosing Msc Clinical Psychology eventhough the college do provide Msc in general Psychology as well
The curriculum followed here from Calicut universiity..it is really vast and some portion do feel not needed.for clinical it would be better of focus was more or clinical and pychopathology.
More focus needed portion only needed to be added in curriculum rather than a lot of history of fields and unnecessary theories which do not help in consultation field

Why is Calicut University so cruel?

Calicut University has worth, which is why it is still in running. Some students enter college and, after a year, succumb to depression due to personal reasons, despite having been good students in the school with over 85% marks. Nonetheless, they fail in a few semesters.
Exams are not held on time, and results are not delivered on time. Only book nerds find it easy to pass with passing grades. This university is not thought to be for the underprivileged. You simply must be patient and work extremely hard to avoid becoming trapped in such a situation. Studying one or two weeks before an exam will not help in any way.
