Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Once the 7th semester is started we started getting emails from different companies for placements. Till now Zesus, Wipro, LTI, Capgemini, Hexaware and TCS are the companies that visited at the start of the 7th semester with around 5L- 8L packages. And many of us are getting placed considering an approx average of 47% from one branch are getting placed in college placements and every detail regarding placements we keep getting emails and also various sessions are conducted to guide us regarding placements. Different companies have different eligibility criteria of their own and if we match those then we have to clear 3-4 rounds that are aptitude test, coding test, technical interview and personal interview rounds. If we can clear those rounds we get a chance to work with that company after we pass out from college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have opted for this course because it has a variety of opportunities. Biotechnology has a great scope since it is a developing course. I had the best faculty members because they are very supportive and provide time to time guidance. SIES is especially known for its student friendly faculty. They look after every student of the class and help them in overall development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose chemical engineering because I had done my diploma in chemical engineering too and chemical engineering has a huge scope in the future from oil and gas to pharmaceutical to paper and pulp to soaps and etc. We can work in many different types of industries. There are around 8-10 faculty members teaching from second year to final year students each batch of 70 students. We have 1 PhD teacher, 2 pursuing PhD staffs and rest all are M.Tech/M.E. qualified teachers. The teaching methods depend from teacher to teacher some use blackboards some use presentation and so on. The exams are always conducted on time and there was no delay even in Covid situation as for passing the exam everything depends on how you study.

Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
