The College syllabus is updated except for some small parts. I believe that there are various other subjects that shouldn't be made compulsory for everyone, students should be given an option to choose a subject of their choice. Industrial exposure is poor in our college and is added by not having a permanent campus. The facilities gave a lot of work and not a very well teaching is provided, in my opinion the exam assessment pattern should also be changed and students should be given more time to explore and develop individual skills.
The course curriculum is pretty up to date, though this mainly varies from branch to branch. The quality of education is better than most of the other engineering colleges in India.90% of the faculty is exceptionally good, having high qualifications from reputed institutions and tonnes of teaching experience.
Course curriculum is excellent. Academics section is also very good, faculties are best. They are very helpful. They are really supportive. The syllabus is updated
No during 1st year. About 2nd year i dont know since we couldn't attend ofgline classes due to covid-19. So yes that is national institute of technology Meghalaya in india in shillong specifically.
Feasible with scholarship based on merit and income basis. B. Tech is of 4 years with each semester total fee for general category student being 94000rs. College take it through online banking and through bank loan payment. College provide transparency with 62500 being tution fee and 16000 mess fee and then several other fees included getting the total to be 94000rs.
It's semester base, each semester is of three to four months with midterm and endterm written exams and some tests and assignment in between, there are some mini projects also in different semesters depending on the course being taught in that semester and a final year project in last year.
After every semester the syllabus get updated.yes in3rd and4th year we experience industrial exposure, faculties are very good and kind they takecare about the students and their teaching skills are also good.
As the institute is government institute. The fees structure is also followed as laid by the government. For an general category student the tution fees is Rs. 62500/- per semester and for a hosteller the total fees per semester is Rs96000/- including tution fees hostel fees and mess fees. For SC/ST students and for students having family income less than 1lakh per annum the tution fees are waved off. Also for general category and OBC category students having family income less than 5lakh rupees per annum 2/3rd of the tution feez is waved off.
Talking about course curriculum, it is same as all other NIT's. We have the same syllabus as the other NIT are having. Exam structure are also simple for UG courses. We have 2 main exams in a semester mid term and end term consisting of 50 marls and 100 Marks respectively. 2 class tests of 15 marks each in a semester and 2 assignments consisting 10 marks each. Total of 200 marks per subject.
Per sem fee have for btech(94000 inr) mode of payment is neft imps sbi collect rtgs.College every semester provide transparency in the fee breakdown. If those student having not good financial status of family they paid by education loan bank provide to directly of college account of their name.
Course curriculum is very good and completed on timely and systematic so I like this procedure and enjoying. And course is also helpful in competitive examinations and campus placement. Couse curriculum running and completed every semester on timely and every semester couse helpful in competitive examinations.
Since iam a hostller and I belong to general OC category so I pay rupees of 97, 000 which will be partially refunded since my family's annual income is below one lakh tuition fee that is 62, 500 will be refunded this all per semester
Electronics and communication course is well a good and interesting course most of the people are interested of taking computer science engineering but electronics is also helps to know what's happening around us. There will be 8 semesters in btech each semester containing one mid term exam and two class tests and two assignments and one end term exam
Fee structure is definitely feasible as compared to other NITs and IITs. Besides the Institute does provide what they ensure in the fee structure. Tuition fees for B. Tech students is Rs 62500, and other institutional fees are Rs 7500. The hostellers pay another Rs 24000 for hostels and mess, which is later adjusted according to holidays, etc.
The course curriculum as per applicable for the students at present is truly amazing. It not only focuses on the theorical point of view for a student, but also takes care of Industrial needs expected from an emerging engineer. The class schedule is such that it generally doesn't overload a student, at the same time, provides sufficient time for every course and lab. CSE students are most relaxed when talking of schedule.
