BPUT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

NIST is the number - 1 college in Eastern India, top most college in Odisha, it holds 60th Rank among all Engineering colleges in India (by Outlook). One of the reality is, I was staying in Berhampur where the college is located - this is the biggest factor, which induced me to join the college. I heard a lot about this college, since this is the best Engineering college in Odisha. It's campus is very beautiful and after seeing it we can't ignore this college. Apart from this it's Labs, academics, sports facilities (indore stadium) are awesome. So if you are not able get into any IIT and NIT colleges, then this one of the best private colleges.

1. 6th semester. 2. No one company come in my college and no offer letter. 3. 10-20% students are placed outside the college. 4. I will take job from Bangalore and do job.

The college is situated at a crucial location, i.e. Bhubaneswar which is the capital of Odisha. Many companies come to Bhubaneswar for recruitment although the salary and other benefits are comparatively less than other states.

Mine college when established was very well known institute. But now heard that the management got changed and hence the infrastructure and college environment got rapid change. Students are not showing much interest in engineering course hence the demand got decreased drastically.

One of the best Private Institution in our State Odisha providing the best quality of education and having good opportunities in Campus Selection and because it is present in my hometown so That's why i chose it

Biju Patnaik University of Technology is among one of the top ranked college in Orissa and is well known for its quality of education and placement it offers. I was also offered numerous opportunities which helped me choose a particular field.

My JEE MAINS rank was 65000 in OBC quota so i did not get any reputed NITs and i was shattered at that time but one of my elder brother suggested me this college who is currently working on-site in IBM and was selected in Accenture at a starting CTC of 8lacs through Campus placement.I researched about this college a little bit and found out that it is one of the best semi government colleges in Odisha with affordable fee structure and great facilities. After taking admission in ECE branch here i realized that only CSE, IT,ECE are having a good prospectus for future endeavors. This college is NBA accredited and have an excellent research building TIFAC funded by government for research in semiconductor related fields. There are hostel facilities but the food is not up to the mark.Teachers are quitr supportive and here your main focus will be studies as the discipline is quite strict.

Best private college Good facultyGood infrastructureGood placement opportunitiesNice co curricular activitiesVarious clubs to choose fromIt is not a big campus. There are a total of 5 buildings, including the hostel. But it is beautiful you will get acquainted with that rather you have to. During summer the classrooms are very bad. We don't have an internet connection on the campus. There are few spots where you can avail a high-speed internet connection (skylab, IOT lab, CS labs). Food served is comparatively good compared to other colleges. The library is also good.

A friend of mine refferd and the thing i loved was the atmosphere and infrastructure, If you are a person who loves to be in a peaceful surrounding and a silent library this is the place to be. I opted for mechanical engineering as i had interest in automobile and manufacturing sector, however the core companies do not visit the campus as it is quite oddly located.

This college comes under bput which is very renowned and i have also noticed that the placement over here is very good. the environment here is good and obviously the studies also. faculties are also very good.
