Is there an entrance exam for UG admission at Utkal University?

No entrance exam is required for BA, BSc, and BCom. Admission is based on Class 12 marks via SAMS Odisha. B.Pharm requires an OJEE score. BCA+MCA (5-year) requires the IMCA entrance test.

What is CPET and who needs to take it?

CPET is the Common PG Entrance Test. It is conducted by the Odisha state government for MA, MSc, MCom, and similar PG admissions. The CPET 2026 exam was held June 20 to 30. MBA and MCA candidates use OJEE instead.

College life in Rajdhani college

Likes

I like the students are very helpful I get to know a college life
I like very the student teacher relationship in our college is very good
My students are very helpful to help me in every situation

Dislikes

Some teachers are not good they prefer very straight rules to make sure
The college washrooms are not like good they are not as hygienic
Some of some of my friends are not good. They spend remorse about me and my friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is not very high. It is good average and there is every every 6 months. There is to exam one is internal and second is semester. And in every one month there is 2 semester to internal. And if any student got back in any subject, then he can already get the test and get passed in that paper.

From teachers are very strict we can't have student teacher relationship
I don't like the college washrooms for girls and boys they are not hijack

Records curriculum is kind of good in every 6 months there is a one semester exam and one is internal exam in a year we have to give two semester and two internal respective in 3 years 6th semester 6 internal and if any students false back in any of the exam he or she will be given the back paper and clear that paper question paper level varies from difficulty to normal

There is a large classroom in our institution. There is so many washroom nd have girls common room for the students
There is a large campus in our college nd have the parking lot for the students and separate for teachers
Very good relationship between students and teachers

Dislikes

Some students are not good they influence other students
Some teachers are very strict and there have some partiality between the students
In some of our classes teacher and students relation is not that much good

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have 2 semester per year which in our course we have 3 years which mean 6semester. If any student have back in their paper then that have to clear their back with their juniors in their respective time. In our semester it take 3hours to complete. But the students can go out before 3hours if they have completed their answers sheets.

I don’t like the classrooms because it’s not digitally upgraded.

The college environment for this course is very good. Teaching methods are good and based on both theoraitical and practical but it's not developed in technological and digital aspect. Exams are also conducted strictly.

Friendly faculty who understand the need of the students

Cleanliness of college campus is always upto the mark.
Hostels are very specious with hygienic toilets.

I attracted towards computer science because I am very much interested in IT sector and also faculty members of this college was very good as well as self financing administration. All the teachers and faculty members are well educated, cooperative and friendly. Semester exams are of 3 hours , practical exams are also of 3 hours and mid semester exams are of 1 hours each

It is a 5 year course 3 year for BCA and 2 year for NICA, Anyone can take his/her IC after completion of BCA. This course can't accept lateral entry for MCA. No placements are offered by the institution.
