Course Curriculum Overview

It is a 5 year course. 3 year for BCA and 2 year for MCA, Anyone can take his/her TC after completion of BCA. This course can't accept lateral entry for MCA. No placements are offered by the institution.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee of this course is 50000 per year excluding other charges and hostel fees. Hostel admission fee is around 15000 and readmission fee is 6060. Student can also apply for scholarship according to their eligibility.

Campus Life

This university cover an area of 500 acres, infrastructure is average but It is eco-friendly and student friendly. This university has indoor stadium, gym, big playground and banking facilities are also available.

Admission

Basically This course select students through entrance cum career mark.The entrance test is mandatory for all the students and career mark should be more than sixty percentage for OBC/GENERAL students. Some relaxation would be applied if anyone undergoes on some special quote

The best and detailed review

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose because of I want to be a software developer and I like the course. The curriculum prepare me for real world application. The software and IT industry are the improvement lines of doing this course.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semesters students are eligible for placements. No such give company came to college, only a few companies which provide only 2lakhs per annum packages. Only a few get placements. My plan is to pursue higher study after.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you got eligible for placements. There are a lot of companies visited reliance is one of them. They recruit well-knowledged and smart students. There is an average salary of Rs. 3.5lacs is offered according to your course. An average of 50% of students gets placements. I want to become a software engineer after getting the degree.

Remarks:

I am doing my distant BCA from Sambalpur University with my going job. The university experience is quite fun and hardworking, as the course wasn't much easy and I had to work hard to clear examinations. The good support of teachers also helps me keep going.
