As far as my personal experience, Chandigarh University is best is almost all the areas that include Academics, Sports, placements, infrastructure, etc. Moreover, management is the best as compare to the other universities. The vision of Chancellor is that if the student grows then the university automatically grows. This is the main reason why it is the best in Northern India.
