- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA
- Lot of exams yearly 3 exams in a semester 2-3 quiz and 1-2 DA ~ Kartik Navnath Narare, B.Tech

- At VIT , you can have a great exposure.There are abundant opportunities and ways for you to communicate with others and improve your communication skills.
- The clubs and extra-curricular activities have direct advantage for the scholastic development of our personality.
- The curriculum is more inclined toward the placement order making it easy to get higher packages.
Dislikes
- There are more number of people studying in vit ,which may make u feel disturbed.
- The overall Fee structure is higher compared to other colleges .So you have to pay more for studying in vit.
- Vellore is small town .So the students which prefer urban locality may find it not interesting.
Placement Experience:
For the 6th Semester , students can try for college placements on campus.There are arount 950+m companies that visited VIT in 2023-2024 with highest package of 88 Lakh CTC per annum.There are 14000+offers for students in VIT. The highest package is around 88Lakh per annum and average for computer science is 12 Lakh per annum.My idea is to go abroad after my degree

- Way of living in the college and the free rules and regulations
- There is no outing time for boys so its good
- We can flexible our own time table and we can select our own teachers
Dislikes
- Mess and food it is only preferable for north indians
- It is so crowded over there and the population is so high
Placement Experience:
Placements at VIT Vellore are excellent with students becoming eligible for campus placements from seventh semester itself. Top companies like Microsoft,Google, and TCS visit making numerous offers. The highest package is 2 crore and an average package 6.5 lakh

- Not able to roam or perform activities or play sports after 9:00PM
- Crowd and a large teacher to student ratio
- Very Unfriendly staff doesn't cooperate at all
Placement Experience:
3rd year is when the students become elligible for campus placements.
FAANG visits VIT Vellore
1.6 crore was the highest pachage recieved by a student.
Almost every student recives placement.
MBA will be my priority.

Course Curriculum Overview:
As my course is CSE, it allows me to interpret the real life problems that can be solved using programming languages. Our curriculum is best suited for acquiring knowledge and solving corporate problems. Suggest for improvement is that we can avoid theory paper for programming languages instead we can code in system. Frequency of exam and it's difficulty level is good

- After spending one year here I get to know that this college have a really great infrastructure with good placement opportunities I guess something which need to get improvement here is the strictness for the students.
- Social life is great here cause you will get people from all over India here with different thoughts and ideas
- Almost all the teachers are PhD holders here and they are really good in teaching like they really teaches us unlike some other colleges to just go though the pdf
Dislikes
- Strictness, because they doesn't allow us to stay out for long ,after 8:15 hostel door gets closed and then they'll make you call your parents
- The burdon of attendance is huge here because you will have to maintain minimum 80% attendance to appear for the exams
- Here they also take three exams cat1,cat2 and then fat so it's a bit hectic for everyone, because in every one month we will get one exam to appear for
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum here is actually good according to me because they not only teaches us theoretically but they actually shows the things in practical labs also and every machine work really well in all the labs ,also there is a soft skills course sts subject,where they makes us placement ready by teaching all the interview preperation techniques, presentation, co.mmunication skills and all

- I like the college campus and how well it has been made
- The faculty is really good and they encourage you to take part in extra curricular
- The college is very systematic and has proper exams
Dislikes
- The college is over crowded especially in computer science
- There is some language barrier in the town of Vellore if you are a North Indian
- The college has strict rules for girls and very strict in times
Placement Experience:
From 5th Semester companies start approaching for summer internships before final year and then companies come throughout 7-8 semester for normal placements.
There are around 500+ companies that visit including the Big 4 and IT sector giants. So there are plenty of opportunities available. Many startups also visit.
There is 100% placement.
The Highest packages goes beyond 40lpa.
My plans are to sit for placements and work for 2 years and then go for masters.

- Many events are conducted to show our skills.
- The faculty were highly certified and knowledgable.

- Attendance is more important than interestingly attending the classes.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very good and the course registration for every semester is based on individual choice the timings and the faculty.
But the drawback is during the time of registration as all the students do it at a time we don't find proper time to make our choices in the way we want.

- VIT vellore has an vast infrastructure with campus size of about 372 acres.
- VIT vellore offers various sports facilities like cricket, football, basketball, swimming, gym
Dislikes
- The university has some strict rules regarding outings and leave.
- VIT vellore is located in a rural area as compared. It could be inconvenient for students who prefer more urban locality.
Placement Experience:
VIT vellore offers high placement rate with many students recieving offers before they graduate.
904 companies visited the campus for placements which recruited 14345 no. of students. The average CTC was 9.23 LAKH per annum.Total no. off super dream offers [ above 10 Lakh] were4461 and dream offers were 3453. Mass recruiters like TCS, wipro and infosys do hire the students.

- I liked the college culture rhe way they planned for wvery thing
- I liked the course curriculum and academics
- I liked the faculties explanation and their concern towards us
Dislikes
- I didn't like one thing more intake of students while admissions
Placement Experience:
Placements are good in our college as I can say 80% are being placed in jobs from 6th sem the students are eligible for sitting in placements. Some of the companies that visited are Amazon, TC's,WIPRO,Infosys and etc average package of the college is 9,00,000

- First of all there is quality of education which makes up for the fee.You definitely will learn something out in 4 years.The faculty is outstanding and world class and will help you if you need it(if you go the right faculty.)
- The quality of living in hostels is good. I would say one of the best in the colleges in the country. The quality of food in mess is also good. you will have a choice of no. Of beds room you meed so that your economic condition do not effect it.
- You have a lot of technical and non technical teams in VIT VELLORE where you can join and gain experience which comes handy in placements
Dislikes
- You have to be beware of taking black listed faculties for your course because if you didn't you will get screwed
Placement Experience:
There is campus placement available in VIT.
There are various national amd multinational companies that come like AIRBUS, BOEING, TATA, DASSAULT SYSTEMS.
The highest package is awesomely huge but yes highest package is not the indication of good average package,average package stands somewhat between 6-7 lakhs.
