- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA
- Lot of exams yearly 3 exams in a semester 2-3 quiz and 1-2 DA ~ Kartik Navnath Narare, B.Tech

- VIT has FFCS(Fully Flexible Credit System) is a system where we can choose subjects, teachers and time slots according to our convenience.
- VIT has brilliant International Relations, hence very good International Transfer Programmes into top universities from across the world.
- VIT offers great placements. Very big companies like Microsoft, Google, Zomato visit every year.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester.
More than 750 companies already visited this year (2024-25). Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Zomato, etc visited the campus and recruited the best minds.
Highest package is of 1Cr as of now this year.
Percentage placement is 95% every year.
I plan on taking placement and contributing to the industry.

- The campus of VIT vellore is beautiful and the crowd is from everywhere. So you will get to socialize with many people and opportunities here are endless in terms of placements.
- The faculties are mostly south Indian but they do not talk in their local language. Only english is preferred. The rules are bit more.
- You can't stay outside without permission of proctor and the in time for the boy's hostel is 9 pm. 9 to 6 are silent hours so no noise is allowed.
Dislikes
- The crowd is the problem here. They take admission in bulk whoch results to competition in seriously everything.
- CGPA is like god here. You will get your teachers and hostel rooms only if your CGPA is decent. 9 pointers don't have to go to classes
- The campus is very big spready around 500 acres. So be reasy to walk and ealk and walk until you find yourself with weight loss. Useful for burning calories :)
Placement Experience:
The placements here provides the good ROI ratio. As many companies comes ranging from Rs. 3 Lakhs to Rs. 60 Lakhs. The average package is Rs. 650000 for CSE branch and you can get many opportunities here if you have good fundamentals in your core subjects and coding efficiency. VIT is crowded so there is competition too.

- From my prospective I deeply love this college . I had now spent 2 years and I had good experience. First I have had some problems like will I be getting ragging or bullied but nothing had happened with me
Course Curriculum Overview:
First I liked to get computer science in btech engineering but I don't get it .seats get filled in this college of computer science in btech.
Then I applied for mechanical engineering and I get it easily

- Curriculum - It is updated after every 5 years which makes student industry ready.
- Faculties - Comparing from other colleges, i find them more helpful.
- Infrastructure - Maintained by staffs everyday. You'll find the campus clean everytime.
Dislikes
- Campus life - Crowd is everywhere which is the worst thing in VIT.
- Fests - Good but most of the things are paid.
- Rules - Too much rules to follow here. If not they'll fine you.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year or 5th to 6th semester, we are elgible for placements. Last year TCS made gave more than 1000 offers. Highest was 1 Cr and 9.9 LPA was average package. About 80% students are placed this year. There's a catch in VIT that if you scored less than 60% in 10th standard then you aren't eligible for placements.
I'll be going for off campus placement after my second year.

- Biometric attendance and digitalized classes, Biometric is a better option for students that prevents proxy
- Mess food, usually colleges cannot provide healthy and nutritious food but VIT provides tasty and healthy food
Dislikes
- Some of the hostel blocks still have the indian toilets and aren’t very hygienic compared to the new ones
- Too many strict rules for the hostellers like no shorts in the campus, outing is allowed only till 8pm and wardens are really strict
- Irons, steam press, kettles, induction pans, etc are not allowed in the campus

Yes VIT has impeccable campus placements, VIT is known for its amazing placements programs.
Amazing companies such as Google, Apple, oracle and a lot more different companies show up every year and choose respectable candidates.
The packages offered are also really nice and respectable
Students can start preparing for placements from the 7th semester
The average package is around 9 lakhs per annum and the highest package recorded by the college is 1 CR before taxes
My plans after getting a degree is to work in a respectable company for a few months and then go abroad for my MBA

- Excellent laboratory facilities and top notch equipments
- Placement is decent if you put in effort and maintain cgpa above 8.5
- Good faculty overall. All have minimum phd qualification
Dislikes
- Too crowded because of extreme high student intake
- Too many exams and quizzes keep a pressure filled environment
- Too many restrictions. Can't stay outside after 9 for boys and 8 for girls
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible from 3rd year for placements
Big companies like Microsoft Google Amazon have taken students from our college
The maximum package was 1cr and average stood at 9 lakhs
Almost 50 percent get placed in dream and super dream companies with placements over 5 lpa
Rest are taken by mass recruiters

- Infrastructure in VIT is best it is perfect for taking photos videos & shooting a Film
- There's a place available for all students to sit and chit chat which eachother & the place us known as FOODYS
- Nescafe is available in almost every building being a tea/coffee addicted person I love the most
Dislikes
- Red tag Anna roaming here and there sometimes irritates
- It takes too much time to reach class as campus is a bit far from eachother
- Submitting assignment within due date or else your 10 marks will be cancelled

Campus placement is good in VIT we have some sessions in which speakers are invited to deliver a lecture about how to get placed. Highest package in b.com was 15 lakhs and average package is 8lakhs lakhs. my plans after graduation is to do a professional course and continue my journey.

- I dislike the food provided in mess to our hostels.
- I dislike the criticism of people those who don't know there state language.
- Moreover, I don't dislike anything else about college.
Placement Experience:
Basically I am in 2nd year now. Students are eligible for placement in their/ after 6th sem. This year around 3000 companies visited and almost 1950 students got their dream job(package above 10lpa). I planned to do mtech or mba after my graduation.

- we can choose our mentor which is good for every one
- the climate and the people from different places so that our language would be improved

- the fees would be too high so normal people can't offered
- too many people will be there and clog would be busy all the time
- for the fest also there would be charges

our campus is good at placments and form 3year 2nd sem we are applicable for placments now i 3year 1st sem i don't yet made any offers
