University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After completing the semester 4 Tcs, wipro and others companies like accounting firm. Highest and the lowest package about 5lakh depends on skills and abilities. 80-90% students getting placement Plane for doing internship and gain knowledge and skills.

My course was very good, I like it. Faculty was also very good and well qualified. Most professors are master either PHD qualified. There were one faculty each per 10 students. Term exams were in time mostly and they were not so tough.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS,BYJU'S,wipro,etc. Recruites in our college and offers post of finance controller, financial accountant,etc. Highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. 80-90% students get placed every year. My plan is too start my own company after getting a little bit experience at working in such companies which could recognise my skills.

I chose this course because I like Computers,hardwares and softwares.Our computer science department is quite good because we are only 14 people in our year and on an average 15 people were admitted in each year and also there are 8 faculty members and we can easily communicate with our professors.Each of our faculty members is Ph.d.And term exams held at right time and exams are quite standard and balanced.

I choose this course because i want to become a chartered accountend. There is many faculty , they tought us very well , faculty member are mostly master in commerce, there is 2 semester in a year . is you study well you can pass easly

I choose this course because I'm from commerce background since my 11th. Faculty is good everyone is very helpful. Everyone is very qualified and we'll trained. Between semester their is a gap of 5 to 6 months for preparation.

All over faculties are good, and friendly behavior Choose the course because of higher research study From time to time semester, internal, and external exam is done And the exam goes from moderate to tough

I choose this course because i want to write goverment exam like wbcs, there history play a mejor role , there is atleast one teacher for one subject,faculty members are very firendly, they mostly age master's in ther own field

I CHOOSED THIS COURSE BECAUSE IT LIES IN MY DOMAIN OF INTEREST FROM SCHOOL DAYS,I WANTED TO KNOW THAT HOW BIG COMPANIES WORKS BY MAINTAINING THERE INFRASTRUCTURE AS WELL AS THERE EMPLOYEES AND IREALLY ASSURE THAT IN WILL MAKE A BIG STARTUP ONE DAY. FACULTY MEMBERS AREB ENOUGH TO MAINTAIN THE TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS PRESENT IN THE CAMPUS. TEACHERS IN OUR COLLEGE ARE WELL QUALIFIED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.THE QUALITY OF TEACHING METHOD IS QUITE INTERESTING. THE TERM EXAMS ARE OVER AFTER 6 MONTHS SINCE THE NEW SESSION STARTS. SEMESTER EXAMS ARE NOT MUCH DIFFICULT STUDENTS CAN EASILY PASS BY STUDYING A BIT,THE PASS PERCENTAGE IS 80-90 %.

Candidates can participate in the campus placement drive from the second year. Some companies that come for placement provide only for interships and some provides full time. The average package offered is around 3-4 LPA for full time. Internships provide around 2k-3k per month depending on the company. The companies like Axis Bank, Airtel, TCS, EY, etc. come and place students from the campus. Around 35-40 companies come to place students with different job roles. After I got my degree I opted for Higher Studies and currently I am studying at Pondicherry University.
