University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 5th sem onwards students get eligible for campus placements. Companies like tcs, wipro, Deloitte, etc visit for recruitment. The average package is 3.5 lacs per year. Many get placed. I plan on continuing my studies after graduation.

I chose this course because I want to be a professor in the future. The total number of students in my class is 150-180, teachers are really good and strict about their studies. Their teaching method is really cool, they explain really nicely, love their teaching methods. Term exams are held every 6 months and it was quite difficult to pass but I somehow managed to pass in every subject.

Well I wanted to build my career in finance so in order to attain knowledge I selected this curriculum. 1 faculty per 50-60 students Teachers were a mix of paid-up staff and permanent ones. Their education qualifications in my case ranged from B. com, MBA to Ph.D. If I had to rate their methodology as a whole then on average I would give a 6/10. Some faculties had exceptional knowledge and experience to enlighten us. There were 6 semester exams as per Calcutta University guidelines in the entire course and before every university exam college conducted an in-college exam to prepare the students.

Because I love this course and I want to make an account with a handsome salary in this college around 1000 students or more and every 6 months you have to take an exam semester wise and I like the way of teaching of my teachers

I chose this course because Urdu is my mother tongue and I love the Urdu language and there is a maximum of 1000 students. the way of teaching is very great and every 6 months you have to do the exam in the way of the semester of 3 years.

I have chosen the b.com hons course because of my preference. The faculty are very good. They are very helpful and their qualifications are also high graded. examinations are held in the semester system. And the quality of examinations is a standard.

The course is well enough and the faculty members are good, to be honest, they teach us very well, we have doubts clearing classes and help us out if we face any problems concerning our subject. The exams are in a gap of 6 months and they are not very tough but no easy as well.

The course in which I was enrolled had no placement options after Bachelors. So, after completing this Bachelor's course most of us enrolled in a Master's course while some went to pursue an MBA. However, there is a placement cell in our college. Students from various departments who are interested in getting jobs after completion of their degree can register there and explore the options available.

I choose this course cause I love Physics and I want to know more and do research on physics. The faculty is good. Enough educated teachers, most of them are Ph.D. holders not only from bum Indt but also from Germany, the USA, etc. The student ratio of male: to female is 4:1. Qualifications are passed the university exam with more than 30% number in exam. The teaching method is well enough but they don't have enough time to complete the syllabus. I would consider it a problem of the College and University timetable.

I love the subject. The faculty was really nice student ratio was quite good. mostly the faculty had a Ph.D. degree and their teaching method was good. The semester system was there and it was a difficult course to pass you have to study rigorously to pass the exams.
