University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It is very difficult to pass college exams as it comes under calcutta university whose exams are very tough. I had chosen this course because I am a CMA aspirant so the BCom course will be helpful for me in aspiring that. The faculties are helpful.

I have the affiliation to opt for a commerce course. student: faculty ratio is 15:50approx. They all have completed their PhD degree. The teaching method is helpful they provide timely notes. Any student who studies can easily pass the test and ace the exam. We are really blessed to get admission into such a college.

From 3 semesters students can apply for any placement they are interested in. They provide placement in good companies with good payouts. Almost 80-90% of students get placement each year. The degree is very important to me

I chose bcom (hons) because there r many types of fields I can go to. The faculty is neutral. There were just the right number of students in each class. The teacher's way of teaching is really good. They try their best to make us understand the subjects with easier methods, and if we have any confusions they happily solve them. The teachers of Bhawanipore College are really friendly and loving. The term exams were regular.

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester, a lot of companies visit college, generally more than 100 companies, giving the highest package of 16lpa and average of 7 lpa. Most of the students who apply to get job are placed.

The college placement is average anyone who gets placed by the college has an average Lpa of around 5 lakhs which is an adequate package for a b.com graduate student and even companies like TCS are the top recruiter from our college.

I chosee this course because I like this account subject business purpose I fully tried service of account manager Qualification of faculties was very good and our teaching method was superb. No difficult exam in this college

I chose this course as bhawanipur is one of the best in Kolkata for BBA. The faculty is less but it's good, they all support the students in terms of academics only. Every one in the faculty has done their masters, some teachers are average and some are genuinely supportive and good. CU is difficult in terms of scoring marks.

The bcom course is very general and provides a little knowledge regarding most of the sectors of commerce. The faculty is highly qualified and experienced and most of the professors are Xaviers passout themselves.

The course curriculum is somewhat difficult & challenging, I chose bcom as it is what I was interested in & correlates to what I m pursuing right now(CA). The faculty of St Xavier's are highly qualified and experienced with great conceptual knowledge. Terms exams are conducted at the interval of 5-6 months & are tough to crack and require a thorough understanding of concepts.
