University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements opportunity depends based on the departments. The Department of Chemistry gets job offers from the company like Asian Paints or coca cola. While Department of Computer Science sends its students to RKM Belur (another college under RKM) where Google and Microsoft come for campus interviews. It estimates that nearly 10 out of 12 get direct job offers.

This course is easy and gives you good knowledge. The student ratio is up to 700 including 500 girls and 300 boys. The faculty are really good and properly qualified and the teaching method is very fast. We have one 1semester after every six months, and it's not easy to pass the semester.

I opted for this course just to complete my graduate degree as apart from this I am pursuing CMA ( professional course). The faculty is quite good with a mixture of Hindu and Bengali teachers. Plus they are all experienced teachers in their respective fields. The exams were conducted by CU i.e. Calcutta University timely and the paper level was Moderate.

I chose this course because I love this subject..Students are at around 30 in our department ...Teachers teaches us with extra care ..Semester exams held after every six months ...We need to give the exams in a different college ..So if you study well you will surely pass the exams with a good number of marks.

Last year of graduation you will get placement Companies like TCS, WIPRO, DR REDDY, IBM, FLIPKART, AMAZON etc visit every year totally offered 400 vacancies for jobs. The highest placement is 5LPA & 3LPA avg 80% of the students get placed I gonna pursue M.Sc after completing my bachelor

I choose this because I want to go ahead to take a job in the banking sector. The student ratio was too good classes were always full. The professors were highly educated and knowledgeable. They have done PhDs in their subjects. Nowadays there are semester-wise exams.

Students of B.Com 6th semester are eligible for campus placements. There are lots of MNCs who are visiting our college for hire. Delloite, e&y, Byjus, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. The average salary package provides by the companies is 5lakh per annum.

5th and 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements.. all placement happens online. Wipro, Tata and many biochemical companies coming but in my mind, the highest package offer maybe 18000 sometimes for the role of a lab technician. 15-18% of students get placement every Year. Join a lab and do MSC in Medical Botany.

I chose this course out of my curiosity and interest. As i am fascinating about archeological stuff. There are 7 faculty member, beside them 2 lab assistant are there. Normally every year 20 to 30 new student get admission for this degree. The faculty of this college made this course so interesting. They are so helpful and they have the volcano of the knowledge. Some have degree from abroad as well. There basically a semester system, where you have to attent exam every six year. beside everything it should known that colleges in west bengal, where Anthropology is thought , Bangabasi college is the best among them .

All the professors are Ph.D. holders and teach us so well that we don't need any further tuition. Economics is a tough subject so much effort is needed to pursue this. I like this subject that's why opted. Exams are held by Calcutta University on time.
