University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 5th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit like vipro, Amway etc. Out of 100 most probably 70% of students get placements. My plan is to settle upon my own family business.

I wanted to start my own business and expand my father's business at the same time so it was adviseable for me to persue B.COM. Moreover, the college is one of the known colleges, its campus infrastructure, faculty, placements were a few reasons I chose the college.

I heard from my seniors that it is a good College for Commerce subjects. This is a totally government undertaking College and for this purpose the fees are affordable. The facilities are too good and the College is near to my house.

I always wanted to study in St xaviers college Kolkata as it is one of the most prestigious colleges in our country. It is also regarded as one of the top colleges and is well known for its Excellency.

Ahhh. This college provides a good environment and the faculty is too helpful. I always wanted to opt geography in my undergrads and i asked a lot about colleges in Kolkata from my teachers seniors and my relatives who stay in Kolkata and each and every one suggested me this college.

St Xaviers college Kolkata is one of the top ranked college in india and has top notced infrastructure and has the best faculty of india. College is well equipped with different labs like finance, chemistry, biology and physics lab.

Ranking, courses available, extra curricular activities and societies for various interests that support my course, placement opportunities after graduation and quality of faculty.

Apart from the distinguished guests and alumni, St. Xavier's is one of the best undergraduate colleges in Kolkata and is very well known for its courses in Arts, Humanities, Mass Media and Business Studies and Commerce. It always features in the Top Ten lists of best colleges across the country. Many placement opportunities are available too.

The timing of the college is very good. I wanted to BBA, there was a myth that BBA has less maths as compared to B.com and I am really bad with numbers, but at last I joined this college as a B.Com student.

Shri shikshayatan college is one of the reputed College of Kolkata, it??s infrastructure is very nice, the things which I like about the College is it??s timing, a student can manage other things very easily along with the College.
