St Xavier's is one of the most renowned colleges not only in India but outside too.I wanted to do bcom and there was no point in going outside my city and spend lakhs of rupees on some other college plus lodging if i could get higher paying jobs if i did the degree i planned to do, from st xavier's.The timings are pretty bad to be honest. But I would not have learnt the things I did, nor make the friends i did, if not for this college. The effect it has on me as a social animal is immense.Being a Xaverian comes with its own bragging rights too. :)

St. Xavier's College, Kolkata is an renowned college in the field of Commerce. With a syllabus that covers every aspect of not only B. Com, but also of CA, CS and other Commerce related competitive exams, I find no other college matching to this level. In addition to it the Education environment. From Advanced Finance Lab, to well furnished Library stuffed with premium study material and books, it's a heaven for students who wants to excel in the field of Commerce. Being a passout from St. Xavier's Collegiate School, Kolkata I always wanted to remain under the same Xaverian umbrella till the very end of formal education. So for students not only from Commerce background, but also from Science and Arts should take admission here if they wish to construct a bright future.

The college is the epitome of the best in india in terms of the bachelor's degree, and staying near parents was a benefit, as I can concentrate on my studies,the problem with going abroad was that I can be negatively influenced and forget my goal.

It is one of the most reputed institute as It comes in India top 4 colleges so I had decided to give this college my first preference. Also since the college college timings start early in the morning, I have almost entire day for other activities.

Proximity to my place. Also it is one of the renowned colleges of kolkata for commerce. Since it's a girls college there is an ease and the teachers too are cooperative. Since i am pursuing CA alongside the college, it gets very hectic. But the college has allowed some relaxation for attendance for bcom students.

The college is only for girls and holds a very good position in the state. The college have wifi facilities and all the classes are air conditioned. If also has a good placement facilities. The college also have smart classes.

The placement cell is very good. Every year the college holds variety of events and competitions. The college follows co-education policy. The college is fully air conditioned with wifi availability.

According to website the college has a good ratting. Specially science subjects are carefully teacher here. The fees are affordable. The infrastructure is well. The food and lodging accommodation is great.

I searched for many colleges in the collegeduniya website. I found this one which is very good for science subjects as well as the college charges a low amount of money for admission and for the total course. This is the nearest college from my house.
