University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

This course is offered in just few colleges of Kolkata. Science faculty of this college is very good specially the microbiology department. Professors and the faculty members are experienced and knowledgeable. The academic record of students are excellent for my program. The college offers ambient atmosphere for its students. The academic expenses are also very cheap and affordable. The college renders most of the facilities without huge expenses. It is very near to my house. The thing I love most about my college is the college library. It is the store house of information. There is no such official monetary charged in case the deadline is over. My course electronics being an ultimate mixture of physics with its mathematical application. I opted for this course as I wanted to study physics along with computer. Physics honours ends up giving a huge burden. Moreover the main reason is that I did not wanted to study Chemistry. Taking up physics honours would have compelled me to study Chemistry as my pass subject. So for students like me who have a thrust for Physics but is afraid of the burden, electronics is the best choice. The course is extremely interesting with the layers of Physics, maths and computer unfolded. This particular course gives scope for jobs as well for higher studies in the foreign countries.

I chose this college because I haeard that this college has a good name and a reputed one then also because I prefer girls college rather than co-ed. I chose this course because I aim to become a professor or either a teacher.

It's best for English department. Infrastructure and teaching faculty at it's best. Apart from this the library is also very good with full of books. It also have digital library. The college provides a common room to its students where they can play games like carrom, ludo, table tennis and also do gym. All the gym materials are there. The college also have a swimming pool for the students.

The faculty was good. Course structure is good. It has a brand name. It has a good library as well. I feel at home at this institution. I have worked through different projects and went through many research papers by many professors. My experience, here was really good.

I wanted a well rounded education in a smaller class so that I can establish close relationship between students and professors. I thrive in a collaborative environment and I relished the opportunity to engage with other students and work together to complete projects.

Nice placement. A lot of Student get placement from this college. A good college overall. As an educational institution it should be appreciated.

A lot of students get placement in past. So many people get job from here. Overall it's really q good college to take admission. Specially noted, there is no Ragging.

The college administration is very good and it is well known for discipline and studies. The teachers are very good the faculty provided by them is also good. My mother suggested to join here as she was also the part of this college.

Our college is one the best goverment college for girls in south kolkata. It is also situated near to my house so it is time saving to join this college. The fees structure is also quite cheap for a middle class family.

This collge is one of the reputated college in South Kolkata and it is goverment college which means affordable fees for the students. My parents suggested me to join this college as they were also the passouts from this college.
