University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The faculty of most of the department's are great. Located in the midst of a great Kolkata atmosphere. easy to travel from home that saves a lot of time. provides a good amount of extra curricular activities that help in keeping the students entertained along with a great friend competative climate.

The college provides pretty handsome placements post-BSc completion. Students become eligible after the 2nd year of their study. There are lots of high profile companies visiting our campus every year. As I myself didn't attend the placements (as I'm applying for Master's in Statistics), I wouldn't know much. But the college website has it all curated. Most students from our dept go for Masters in some of the reputed units around India & abroad. However, some did appear for Placements, & got placed in certain big shot companies. The average package was around 5 LPA.

Because it is one of the oldest and most reputed colleges in my city. I always wanted to study here. Also the faculty is amazing here and the college provides a ragging free campus which is a very big plus point.

This college has an overall good facility and is private one with students participating in different events which are organized well and studies are at an average level not hampering the intellectual performances.

The subject Communicative English which I'm studying is studied in only few colleges. Among all these colleges Gokhale Memorial Girls' College is well known for good education. And via one bus I can reach to my college, so it is very easy for me.

No placement in my college. That's why no students were got placed. None of the companies came to recruit the students. There was no average salary or any salary offered to any of the students. Around two students got an internship in companies in nearby areas. Placement is the weak point of the college, the administration should have to take bold steps to think about the student's jobs security just after passing the college.

Education system is good so I taken admission in sivnath sastri college. As per it is women's college so girls should must admit here for good environment.

The college is well reputed and has a good faculty. Moreover the the college provides a exciting and fun campus life. The college has plenty of co curriculum and has a grand fest which lasts for 3 days. And I opted industrial Fish and Fisheries because it is a very interesting subject.

Its one of the top Colleges of the State as well as the Country with a wonderful faculty for each department. I wished to pursue my career in English and Loreto is indeed of the best institutions as far as this subject is concerned. Moreover the College has a reputation of having a very 'academic ambience' which is overwhelming for any student. There are no political activities allowed inside the College which in a way makes the College strictly academic with nothing else allowed to intrude.

One of the best college for commerce in Kolkata, also a heritage for the city. Transportation is available easily and the courses fits well in budget. The teaching staff is also good. Thus, it's the reputation of the college that provoked me to take admission.
