University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

It is one of the best colleges in India for the BSc Psychology Honours course, and it is in my home state. So I didn't look further. It has very highly qualified professors, who are also practicing psychologists themselves, so we get an insight into what kind of a life we are choosing, along with some bits of experiences we hear from them.

I never knew but after giving the review of my college I came across a point that so I talked about with my senior regarding this and they said that the placement percentage is quite good and the average annual salary they provide is sufficient for an individual as freshers.

Heramba Chandra College is very famous for its commerce department in kolkata. I loved commerce since class 12. I wanted to further study this subject. Heramba Chandra College is under Calcutta university which is also very good

I love accounts and accountancy is my passion. I want to pursue CA so i will be stuck with studies so I took admission in a morning college so that i can get time to study for my professional course.

I loved commerce subject in school. I had taken up commerce stream in class 11 and 12. I loved marketing and other sales related portions so i took up commerce. Sivanath Sastri College is very good commerce college in Kolkata so i took up admission here

Unfortunately, we do not have a proper placement cell in our college but the college is trying to overcome this scenario by providing us with seminars and other events such as counselling sessions to prepare us for the real world. Alumni networking is not that good.

The admission to the postgraduate courses is granted on the basis of marks scored in the graduation. The application process is through an online medium where we have to submit all the relevant details and upload the scanned copies of the required documents. The selection is done by the college on the basis of merit.

It is a very reputed, decipline and a student friendlycollege. I opted the course for economics as because in class 12 I loved this subject very much the college conducts sports activities, annual functions,many international conferences and many more it helps the students to grow and adapt knowledge.

We have three shifts in our college but we still don’t have any placement cell mentioned on the website. Since I’m a final year student, I have a very little to negligible knowledge about placement cell in our college or the average package offered or the companies coming up.
