University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I came to know about the college from my friends. I chose a B.A(Honors) in English since I was a Arts student. For the application I had to pay Rs 110. I had to submit my application form along with my 12th mark sheet. Admission is generally merit-based. There are two merit lists for the students.

Since I have not completed my graduation yet we aren't exposed to these placements process. The college website holds that companies like TCS conducts 3 days workshop and selects students on campus interview which is really praiseworthy.

It is one of the best colleges in kolkata with excellent faculty and very strict rules with a great amount of history. Also the infrastructure is very good with a hoge library and humongous common room and also the canteen is cheap and provied with good quality food.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE : The entire admission process will be carried out fully in online mode, no physical presence is allowed. There are many courses offered by the college and admission based on online exam and merit list.

First of all for the brand University of Calcutta which is really very important for me and next for the subject of human development which I loved the most as it's really very interesting and it provides ample amount of knowledge.

Everytime I have a dream to graduate from calcutta university and yes it happened by picking up the subject human development. Then for the nature's friendly campus and it's really very beautiful. Everyone will loved it.

I choose this university for the subject of human development. By studying this subject we can do a lot. Then about the campus which I liked. The behavior of the staffs are also very polite and the faculties are also very good.

After reading good reviews and knowing about the best faculty I decided to take admission. Reasonable admission and tuition fee was another added advantage to this. Overall academic performance of the college is also praiseworthy.

Teachers here are exceptional, student-friendly and supportive. Visiting faculty members, along with young faculty members, make this department a special one. They are always free to share their invaluable knowledge and experience to the students. The way they guide the students is helpful for both research purpose and for industries.

I had chosen it because it is a female college. The fest was held once a year and so was the sports fest. Debates and quiz were a regular phenomenon.The college organises sports events and fest once a year.
