Dislikes
- Need proper playground we don't have big playground
- The quality of infrastructure is very good bathrooms are clean labs are well maintained you can many water purifier in college and our college also provide gym
- They do many seminar for improving students so its quite good
Course Curriculum Overview:
*My aspect to choose this course because I heard you can get multiple job opportunities that's why.
*Our faculties give practical knowledge and provide some industry visit so it's good
*We need proper lab assistant for our labs
*Their is a 6 mounth gap between our exams

- There were no incidents of ragging since I joined
- Basic amenities like Computer Lab and Library is well maintained
- Teachers help students to get internship opportunities and to write journals
Dislikes
- Lack of dustbins or proper disposal area
- The department of law is situated just beside a dumpyard. Foul smell as soon as you leave the campus
- WiFi should be free for all the students studying not only for scholars and also student email is provided to scholars only
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty and curriculum in NBU is really good and also the best in Northern part of Bengal. Also it is nearer to my home that's why I had opted this university.
The curriculum really prepares you well for real world circumstances by conducting Debates and Moot Court.
A Projector Based & Air Conditioned classroom would be a great addition

- A very good and well stocked library, offering a wide range of books
- No ragging, there is a anti-ragging cell/unit in our college
- Extremely good and experienced teachers.
Dislikes
- Very old infrastructure of the old building
- New cycle parking areas which were meant to be made are left undone
Course Curriculum Overview:
The loved the subject matter and scope of economics, so I choose this course. However, our University (University of North Bengal) conducts exams in a course of around 4/5months which results in insufficient time to cover the whole syllabus and leads to a lot of fails.

- The college campus is full of trees and the roads are clean.
- The teachers are very helpful and guide the students very well
- The college campus environment and the culture among the students is very good.
Dislikes
- The washrooms and toilets are not so much clean.
- Some teachers and staff's behaviour is very bad.
- Some classes needs new technologies like smart board, projecter etc.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The courses offered by the college are very good and the college has the facilities to conduct the courses. The teachers give the students the opportunity to learn everything. The teaching method is quite good. The exams are in 2 semester per year. The even semester exams happens in June and the odd semester exams happens in December.

- I was like the fact that the college Union is so friendly.

- I didn't like that our college is not set to a strict rules about college pass students allowed related.
- I don't like the fact that regular classes is not attend

My course is B.A philosophy honours. I love my subject my course. That's why I decided to complete the college with this course. It's a great subject to us and me because we want to know about this subject very well.

- The freedom, maybe it’s just the transition from a school that made me like the freedom i had in my college. However i would say Siliguri College of Commerce is quite lenient and it feels good to have such freedom.
- The teachers are quite helpful , atleast the ones that i took classes of were very helpful and observant so whenever i felt like i didn’t understand a certain topic, they would gladly repeat it for me.
- Since the classes are at evenings, the weather is quite pleasant.
Dislikes
- As i mentioned the classes being at evening not only comes with pros but also has its cons like having to return home late at night.
- The infrastructure aren’t quite pleasant. The classes are very old and rusty.
- The students can be quite arrogant. Not everyone but still some are quite arrogant and rude
Course Curriculum Overview:
the curriculum present are quite basic as you would see in a BCom degree classes. The curriculum prepares quite well for real world application or further academic procedure. Personally, I think on the curriculum would be very helpful for further academic pursuit take. The frequency of the exams are every six months. I guess the difficulty is in the mid range.

- Curriculum activities are also done consistently.
- Sports and entertainment are also prioritised.

- Long sessions of classes are kind of boring.
- Dress is also kind of nerdy type I guess.
Course Curriculum Overview:
They give us freedom to choose our own path in life. They guide us on everything and give us knowledge we need. We have a good relationship with aur faculties they really admire their way of teaching. The timing of exams are also very comfortable.

- The College campus is beautiful , it's scenary is so overwhelming
- The members of Faculty are very experienced and friendly
- There are various co curriculum activities held at college levels
Dislikes
- The weather is almost foggy half of the year
- It is mandatory to wear proper college uniforms
- Have to come to college early in the morning by 8:45 am
Placement Experience:
1) There is a Placement Cell in the College Campus.
2) Usually College provides Placement facilities to the final year students of all the Departments as well as to the alumni's
3) Different Private Banks, Private Limited Companies comes to hire freshers from the campus

- The timing of the college is very much unfavorable
- Too strict curriculum, one needs to abide by each and every rule
- Canteen food is not of good quality according to the cost
Course Curriculum Overview:
The balance between studies and cocurricular activities are maintained pretty well in my college.
This college gives you many platforms where one can grow in different ways , there can be seen a drastic change in the students from the time they joined to the time they graduate.

- The thing I like about our college is , it has beautiful campus and beautiful rooms
- Second thing is the teachers of our college are really very gentle to us
- Third thing is , We have a beautiful library where we have so many books that really helps us

- The thing I dislike is , bathrooms are not clean
- Second thing is some teachers are really so rude
- I would say I've nothing to dislike about our college

We live in a world where english is a global language so we should know and talk English fluently.
In our college we not only taught literature, also the teachers taught us how to talk fluent English with a great conversation(in english) so I think it influence me to choose this course
