- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Programs are little less but they give us more opportunities to focus on studies

- All the labs are very far apart and it involves walking
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum consists of ktu syllabus. The syllabus is filled with all difficulties to ensure there is knowledge as well as not denying non bright students oppurtunities. There are two internal exams in each sem. One year consists of 2 sems. If one fails to attende internal exam there is a chance to retake the exam in the form of a modal exam in the very end of sem.

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

- My college is actually more socializing and student friendly
- There is no rules that breaks students freedom even there is no college uniforns exept for lab coats
- All facultys in our collage are student friendly and approachable for any reasons even for academic and nonacademic.
Dislikes
- Our collage area is bit small if comparable so it should be incrased by building new blocks and adding new courses
- Our collage participation in sports actovities are less as there is no ground for the students in thr collage
- Needed break time between the hours of classes but there is only lunch break provided
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students becomes eligible for campus placements and a main comlsny that visits for our department students is ZIFO. In our department around 54% students are gsining placements in various companies

- We get more placement training here provided by the college

- Cultural programs are not conducting regularly
- Need more area for spending leisure time.our ground is 300 m long from college
- Hectic schedule for students.ktu is conducting exams within 3-4months.
Placement Experience:
Scms proved a decent placement offers for their students.mostly from the s7 beginning placement are conducting.all most all mainstream companies had visited our campus for placement. Infosys,TCS,UST global, amazon, mahindra, tata motors, wipro, bosch, accenture and many more.
5-25LPA are basic packages. 60-70% students getting placed every year.

- The education quality is good. College provides placement training, induction programs through the 4 years.
- Experienced faculty who teaches in both English and malayalam.
- Labs are available. Courses also provide additional courses like python learning etc.
Dislikes
- College has little to no programs. Like tech fest arts fest and other celebration. It is very focused on Acdamic.
- Hectic schedule of classes. Extra classes in weekend.
- The location of the college is far from main roads.
Placement Experience:
End of S5 onwards campus placement starts. Amazon, Infosys. Almost everyone gets placement but package varies from 5000 to 30000 .Depending on department placement rates varies some departments like computer science have 75% placement. Other departments like civil have 25 % placements

- They only gives as mental torture . Most of the students are experiencing it
- Management is really bad. They don't give respect to us and our parents
Course Curriculum Overview:
Ktu gives more importants to theory so we didn't learn any thing in better. After graduation most of the students are not aware how create an app or code something. 2024 scheme is far better than old scheme

- Campus environment:the campus is one of the highlights of the collage lushy greenery,peaceful surrounding and a well maintained campus provide an ideal atmosphere for students to focus on their studies and personal development
- Supportive faculty:the professors are generally well received by students they are approachable and always ready to assist with any academic challenges many students appreciate the one on one interaction and guidance they receive especially at workig
- Active student life: there's never a dull moment at the collage with a variety of student with of student driven activities freshers's Day,ethnic day,and unionday offer fun opportunities to engage with peers and the meunerpus clubs and societie efort
Dislikes
- Infrastructure issues:one of the downside is the infrastructure while it's functional and suitable for the most part some stdnt feels it's lacking when compared to other institutions the facilities could instute the facilities could certainly improve
- Academic rigor:though the faculy is helpful some student feel the academic curriculum could be more challenging many believe that enhancing the academic rigor would better prepare. Student forr the competitive job market
- Limited hostel faculties:currently the collage offers only girls hostel but there is no boys hostel facility.this can bea major inconvenience for male student coming from outside this area it would be beneficial if the institution expand its hostel
Placement Experience:
The placement scenArio at college of engineering Thalassery is moderate with limited core eee job opportunities while some it and software companies visit the campus core electrical placement are relatively low many students optfor higher studies government examor off campus job search to secure better opportunities
It and software companies:some Student get placed in tcs,infosys,wipro,etc.core* eee job:limited, mostly in power and automation sector throught off campus hiring ?gov exam aspiration:many student prepare for gate,lseb,pgcol,railway,and psu
?since on campus placement in core electrical field are limited student need to focus on: internship and certification.gate preperation for pau jobs or mechanical iniits and nits.off campus oppyincore campaniesand startup.enterprenuership and freelancing in electrical services,renewable energy or automation.if you are self driven and willing to upskill,coE Thalassery provides a good academic based.however placement in core eee are not strong so higher studies govexamor off campus job hunting are essential for career success

The students could sit for placement from the early seventh semester
The companies visited are TCS, Infosys, cognizant, info park, ust global , Times of India etc
Sixty to seventy percentage of students are placed with a good package

- Boy to girl ratio is 1:1.a good environment is built by teachers and students. This encouraged competitive minds. IEEE is strong in sct. Students have been given numerous opportunities and has all, won many competitions.
- The CGPU unit or placement unit of the college is one of the strongest with promising jobs. It has given training to all students from branches hence training them for highly competitive aptitude. They have provided best options for higher studies.
- NSS is a club that works a charity group. It works for the society . Collecting funds and goods from students. It has made a huge contribution to the society and is still is. Many students are encouraged in working together and building team spirits.
Dislikes
- The college has a very small ground. Students who play games like kho kho , handball, basketball, football and cricket has to go to otehr collegea for practice. Despite many strikes and protests no actions have been taken by management .
- The new mini canteen that has been put up recently has very limited options. Hence as students we go outside college premises for lunch. The lunch in canteen is also little expensive. Also the old mini canteen was nice but they stopped it.
- Despite the college having won many cultural fests it does not have a stage or an auditorium. It is conducted openly under a pavilion. If there is rain then event will be cancelled. Despite protests the management has not taken any action.
Placement Experience:
Placements are pretty good here. The chlu unit or placement unit works in traing the student to attain a secure job.
Stidents of semester 7 can start applying for the placements. Around 60 percent of students are placed in numerous companies and mncs.
The companies that often ivite students are tcs, infosys, oracle and accenture.
They provide an annual salary of 5 lakh per annum. It is a mass recruitment. But alart from that studenta are given gate coaching. Hence they either ho for higher studies or opt for psu companies like sets, hpl etc. But the highest package given was 12 lakh for a student who went to maharatna company through gate in the previous year.
In total around 30 companies visit every year. Companies like google, microsoft, pinterest has also recruited students from the college.
My plan is to go for gate coaching during 3rd year. And appearing for 2027 exam to clear it and to attain a psu company job. Work for 2 to 3 years in that company and look for more opportunities in abroad later.

- Quality of education and the faculty: The faculty we have here is knowledgable
- Infrastructure and labs: the college has well equipped labs
- Course curriculum: thr course curriculum is well structured and organized
Dislikes
- Placement opportunities for biotech companies are really low
- College could improve interms of extracurricular activities
- The number of girls are relatively lower with more boys
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because of the subjects that we have to learn. They were quite interesting. The curriculum is well structured in a manner so that the student can complete and understand the basics of the subjects after completing each semester. The subjects taught need not require that much of a change. Teachers can interact a bit more with students during the classes. The exam timings are fine. But i think they should just conduct a single exam in a day while conducting internals
