- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Placement Experience:
At RIT Kottayam, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The college sees visits from top companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant, offering roles in IT and software development. The highest package is around ?12–15 LPA, with an average package of ?4–6 LPA. Approximately 70–80% of Computer Science students are placed. After graduation, I plan to work in a reputed IT company, focusing on AI or Machine Learning, and may pursue higher studies or certifications like AWS or Data Science to further enhance my career.

- I like the freedom in our college provide space for ourselves, accept for who i am
- Some faculties are friendly, supportive,encouraging for what we are doing .
- College gives space for the cultural fests, innovations.
Dislikes
- 8 hours of class makes me so tired to do another productive work
- Didn't get enough time to do a part-time jobs.
- Focused on old way for studying, little update for modern world technology, and no update about real world life

Course Curriculum Overview:
I got interested in this subject while i was studying +2 ,there was 2 chapters about biotechnology which caught by my eye. The is a well structured curriculum and when and where to apply these isn’t really explained. Teaching methods could be more focused on practicals which might be helpful in real world. The timing of exams aren't a problem still now but there is one comprehensive course in 6th semester the exam timing is not really great.

- The things I liked about this college first of all is the dress code .There is no uniform and dress code is formal.but maybe some students might find it difficult to wear colour dress everyday.but still that's a good feature
- Other feature i like is the teachers all the teachers are well experienced.
- Other factor is the library facility.the library is a model of the one of the famous library in singapore
Dislikes
- Though the campus is a couple friendly .The separation between girls and boys in classrooms especially in computer science department
- Another thing is the hectic schedule.we have a lot of assignments,projects and things.
- There are no much events compared to the other colleges.and also the student union has no much role in the decision making.
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for placement since sem 5 .There are many companies visiting the campus like TCS Infosys tata xpron will amazon etc.almost 60 companies offered job .The highest package was 80 lakh per annum and the lowest is 8 lakh per annum.70 percentage of students get placed.but my plans after degree is doing masters in bussiness.

- Teachers are good with high knowledge in their subjects
- Good class rooms, clean washrooms, workshops conducting by each departments
- Arts,cultural fest of our college (CULT),
Dislikes
- We have no other activities like part-time job to earn money
- They are rushing each and every semester with a long syllabus
- There no proper ground for our college to play sports like football, cricket...and biotechnology department has labs actually it needed more equipments for students hand on experience
Fees and Financial Aid:
At admission, I paid 19,000 as I got admission through KEAM under the SC category, which has lower fees compared to other students. In the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years, the fees will vary as 8,000, 30,000, and 40,000 respectively. One of my friends, in the OBC category, is paying up to 86,000.

The course i selected is mechanical as a girl it is quite good but we too have opportunities so which we can go ahead and see if it is said for as and try our levrl best get a job which course i have took

- Food of canteen in my college is not good

There is three exam including two internal exam and other is University exam conducted by APJ abdul kalam university and some exams are moderate and some exams are hard but internal exam is help to find the pattern of the exam

- The thing I love in my college is the ambience and the structure and also the students and the staffs . The improvement that required aree mainly a play group for the college.
- All the activities in our college are awesome.
- It is a good college and the girls are so adorable and attractive.
Dislikes
- The space for the college is very less .
- College required a ground, unfortunately it doesn't seems to come in execution yet.
- The other thing is the some toxic behaviour of some people.

The course that I chosen is mechanical engineering.
I chose mechanical engineering because I love the aspects and specifications and also I love the mechanisms of vehicles especially.
I chose because I love to work with machines that that of other computers or other stuffs.

Students from Semester 7 can sit for placements.
Various IT companies like Tata elxi , speridian ,allianz, renault nissan technology & business centre and many other companies.
Highest package was 7 lakhs and lowest package was 3 lakhs.

- Freedom the college has and it's environment
- The teaching and staff is really good as compared to other colleges
- Really good alumnis as they are helpful for guiding us

- Small campus as there is not even a ground
Placement Experience:
Placement of college is dependant upon the batches before us so if the batches before us perform bad then it will affect the placement possibiities of the batch who comes the next year so I wud say placements vary according to that compared to main govt colleges like cet

- Public bus facility is just right outside the college.
- Area is not too in the city or far from it.

- Area of the overall institution is low..
- Insufficient number of handwashes in the campus.
- Few other things could have been better.

Students become eligible after 6th semester. Companies like tcs, tata lxi, nsk, nissan are few of the companies that came. The overall placement is kinda low but thats kinda true for all engineering colleges nowadays.
