- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Good placements are available in this college compared all the engineering colleges in Kerala that is one of the reason I chose this college for this particular course. College has a good placement unit.

The curriculum of my current course of Bachelor of technology ( Biotechnology and Biochemical) provide all the necessary portions to develop professional knowledge about biotechnological field and application of chemical engineering in biological sector.

- The freedom that comes with being part of the government institution and having the opportunity to ask for changes from management if they took harmful decisions
- Choices in project work were entirely ours and the guides are only there to help along the way and not dictate the project as a whole
- There's a good boys to girls ratio in class
Dislikes
- Faculty availability for subjects were scarce
- Faculty were not helpful at all in the learning process all of it is self study
- Study materials are not provided for learning
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is not updated at all. We learn the same basics and math that people who graduated years ago learn. The curriculum by itself does not prepare you for real world applications, it's the project and other internship work you do that does that.
Teaching methods can be improved and the course can be spanned out better so the exams are not so often close together.

- on summer season the temperature goes upto 40°c
- also the availability of water is less during summer season,but water supplies are available
- little bit strict, during last days of semester, the workload and pressure is out of the world

- Involvement in club core committees and organizing events.
- Some faculty are really nice, friendly, good to be around, help with studies as well.
- Ladies Hostel is amazing. Good wardens, cctv cameras and security for protection , good food and friendly chefs, good quality rooms and bathrooms, events like LH Day, Christmas, etc are celebrated.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is poor. Poorly maintained bathrooms and old classrooms and labs.
- Some faculty are arrogant and take to their own methods of teahing. Students tend to detest their classes.
- Faulty components and equipment in laboratories. Sometimes they put the blame on us when it was damaged already and ask for fine.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is good and has direct influence in the field of interest. We have subjects such as signal processing, Python and C Programming, Medical Imaging Techniques, Study of analyical and diagnostic equipment, Design Thinking an Hospital Engineering etc. The semesters put forward byt KTU are pretty tight and hecic but the subjects are very interesting.

- College fees is not at all affordable high fees and short payment time
Course Curriculum Overview:
Actually speaking in Course Circullum will not take ne anywhere because we are not fully studying one subject like half cs half cyber it is full of mix and match no clarity all.
If this was the situation I wouldn't have taken this course.
Improvements are required but now no use.
The timing of exams is soo stressfull we only have half day 1 day in between to study for semseter exams internal is fine but in sem exam it is so distressing and stressful to learn all the 5 modules in just half a day.

- The teaching is generally very fast and not understandable
- The freedom that students get is very little
- The college is very strict comparing to other colleges in area
Course Curriculum Overview:
The time gap between the 3 exams are very less. The areas of improvement is that the teachers must slow down their pace of teaching and give their students the time to catch up and they should not give them much pressure

- The college do not have proper uniforms other than lab uniform

Placement Experience:
This college provide better placement opportunities compared to other engineering colleges in kerala. In Btetech more than 80 percentage student getting placement. Almost all reputed companies are visit CET for placement.

- Strict rules are applied against first year students.
- Less non academic programs are conducted by college.
Placement Experience:
Our college have a good placement cell and it is active at all time. Many companies like Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, Federal Bank and other Benglure, Chennai based IT companies. Those who have no supplies in entire semester exam are eligible for appearing campus placement interview.
The average salary is 4.5 lac per year.
Almost 60 to 65 percentage placements are providing by college.

- Active campus and lot of programs for freshers also to showcase their talents
- Good library with a lot of books and time upto 9:00 pm is available
- Teachers are very sincere and taking a lot of efforts
Dislikes
- Food is not so good, especially lunch. Breakfast is nice in canteen but lunch is not
- Only one ladies hostel, so only a few get accommodated. Paying guest around the college seems to be bit expensive
- No breaks between period. only a single break is allotted,that is at the lunch time
Placement Experience:
In first semester so far no placement for structural engineering had came. Basically for Mtech placement is less compared to Btech. And especially for civil Engineering streams it's too less.
College is saying many companies will visit in coming days.
In Btech in other streams like CS,EEE most of them are placed when it comes to civil it's less to get placed in core companies.
In Mtech only a few get placed in core companies.
My aim is to get placed in any company. Preference is a core company but it's ok if get any other companies also

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations.
