- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Our one and only bienalle, 'Bharatham' which is a big college fest which lasts for 2-3 days.
Dislikes
- The pricing system in canteens. Half biriyani was Rs 35 when i was in my 1st semester. But it increased to Rs 60 when I was in my 6th semester. Not just this. Many other food item's price increased ridiculously and quantity decreased.
- Hostel food. The quality was too bad. There has been an incident when almost 80% people of our hostel fell ill and still they took an action only after 2 days or more, because they refused to accept that it was the hostel mess's food responsible.
- Hostel safety. We have come across a zoo of animals from snakes, raccoons, civet cats,cats, bus, etc at our hostel. Above the false ceiling which may fall anytime, we can always hear civet cats crawling around. We are in constant fear of it falling.
Placement Experience:
Placements were good, till 2023 pass out batch. But our batch didn't get much companies coming in our campus. Mass recruiting companies like TCS who used to come 5th or 6th sem started coming by 7th and 8th sems. Even the eligibility criteria for certain companies who used to allow certain number of backlogs and no cgpa cut off/ cgpa cut off above 6 started coming with their eligibility criteria being no backlogs and cgpa above 7 or 8. It was really very competitive. Even the circuit branches required to have high knowledge in coding languages. And mostly the companies which came were those with the positions for either sales or call centre agents.

- Friends who became family, they made my college life beautiful.
- Well experienced and skilled teachers who are really friendly.
- Many companies have approached our college for campus placements.
Dislikes
- There is no Men's Hostel facility in the college.
- Campus area is really small and conjusted.
- Ther is no playground or indoor turf in the college.
Placement Experience:
Many companies like UST Global, Qburst, IBM have approached our college for campus placements. Average offer made by them is around 6 LPA. Highest offer was 15 LPA by Thoughtspot. Almost 50 percent of our students got placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The syllabus was prepared on the basis of what we need in future. And these syllabus are divided into modules which make the studying easy and there were many exam conducted based on the syllabus and difficulty levels

- the college provide many placement oppurtunities. many students are placed in good packages.the college have good infrastructure.
- the college have a large campus(about 60 acre). that includes 4 hostels(3 men's hostel and a girls hostel).
- the college provide many oppurtunities for extra curriccular activities . personally i joined in hand ball camp.
Dislikes
- during summer days there is so hot in college. lack of smart classrooms and projectors in some classes. the college have no accredictions
- programs are very less in this college. some faculties are not taking classes properly. feels so boring in this college .
- the food in the canteen is not good. some buildings in this college is very old so there is no modern facilities.
Placement Experience:
the college provides many placement oppurtunities and intership oppurtunities. the students are placed in companies like cognizant, tcs, infosys,wipro. a very low percentage students are placed from each class (about 10 per class).

- The college ambience is great, For a person who aims to focus on studies with utmost concentration, this college is best option.
- The library facilities are great, they allow you to have an access over all kind of books, even if something is not available, they will make it available within one or two weeks if requested.
- The faculties are good, the hostel is clean. Hygiene is maintained very well. Promotes extra curriculars very well irrespective of gender.
Dislikes
- Hostel wardens , hostel rules, we have to get inside the hostel within 6 pm , rules are a bit different for boys hostel.
- Some of the faculties are very bad, they just don't know how to do the teaching.
- Roll call system in Hostel. Gender inequality (sometimes).
Placement Experience:
The placements are good in fisat, 80-90 percentage is the placement percentage. Although the recession this year affected the placements this year, but still most of the companies approached fisat and more than half of the stduents in 24 passout batch have atleast one placement in their hand.

Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Federal bank,tata, Qburst,techno etc are the main recuyers here. Average package is almost 45000 and the highest package is around 1 lakh.Almost 55% of whole students get placed.

- The ambience of the college is pretty nice, you can study in harmony with nature
- The college consists of a whopping 52 acres, which is pretty huge and explorable
- The canteen has some a very good menu, you can enjoy lunch with nice food
Dislikes
- since the college has a huge area, sometimes you have to walk long to get to lab or other places
- The college has pretty average infrastructure
- The college lacks basic needs in some buildings
Placement Experience:
from sixth semester, you will recieve placement training and companies will come to give you interview, you have to be well prepared and if you have skills you will get placed.
the frequently visited companies include TCL, Infosys, popular mega motors,ecoval, etc.
the highest package is around 6-8LPA and average is 3-4Lpa
THe percentage placed is low comparitively

- Collegen canteen foods are good enough compare to other collages

- The transportation facilities like buses is not much better
- The worshops facilities are not not modest

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is not much harsh that exams are hard but with basic knowledge in the subject we can easily clear the papers easily. The curriculum also includes experimental workshops which can improves knowledge in subject

- Quality of infrastructure, learning facilities, labs etc
- Faculties and mentoring. Mental health consulting faculty etc
- Placements and skill development opportunities, good support from college as well as faculties
Dislikes
- Long procedures inorder to leave the campus due to any emergencies.
- Separate hostel rules for men and women,where womens need a number of permissions and boys need none
- The blocks are 4 or more number buldings. There are 2 lift each in the blocks but students are not allowed to use them.
Placement Experience:
They will provide you with campus placement training from third semester onwards. More than 100 companies visiter and more than 1000 offers were made. Highest package was around 24 lakh. More than 70% of students get placed. From 6 th semester onwards students are eligible for placements. My current plan is to do higher studies in abroad

- Practical labs are good and modern equipments are used
- college have vast area, (52 acre) including play ground like football, basketball

- During summer days it is very hot in college
- The college do not include gym facilities

Placement Experience:
our college have good placements, from sixth semester, companies will come for placements companies like infosys, tcl, TVS
etc. will come for placements and they offer good placements packages like 6 to 10 lpa.

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.
ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
