- I liked that most of the faculty seem pretty good in their field.
- Placement is good average package is almost 15 lakh per annum
- You can make good friends and paricipate and sports facilities
Dislikes
- Veg mess food is pathetic. Most of the times, menu is even ont followed.
- It is 15 km away from the city una that is the problem for students
- There is communication gap between the administration. As there is no Student Body. So sometimes Students phase the issues.

Placement Experience:
From 7-8 semester students become eligible for campus placements . In 3-4 semester students can apply for interenship. Big companies like paypal has visited the campus . In 2024 highest package is about 32 lakhs. Nearly 70% students got placed this year. I want to become a good coder after getting the degree

- The scope of placements at IIIT Una is almost 100% .
- IIT Una was under the mentorship of NIT of Himachal Pradesh and that was NIT Hamirpur and that's why it's better than many other IIITs.
- The learning culture here is god like as we are taught to the core and students here becomes adept of their subjects.
Dislikes
- The college is quite far from main city and therefore basic necessities are lacking.

Placement Experience:
Infosys and TCs as not many international firms such as Microsoft or Amazon have seen the potential that we have. It doesn't matter though as many complain that TCS offers less but to our students and average of 10 lakhs is offered to maximum students.

- if u do like to live in a peaceful environment iiit una will be a blessing for u it has too good infra and is situated in Himachal
- The placement support is pretty good. Most of the students get placed from here.
- The course curriculum is the most up to date curriculum in the entire country .
Dislikes
- the connectivity is poor in terms of trains.
- The city culture is quite low don't expect late night parties here.
- The academics is tougher than most of the collages.
Placement Experience:
the placements are pretty good most of students get placed even the top companies like amazon and amex visits our collage for placements. the avereage package is arounf 16lpa and the maimum is around 65lpa

- Campus of college is very good with decent infrastructure.
- Good facilities for playing several sports are available.
- Different Fests like Mridang Yalgaar are there whichh are good.
Dislikes
- Though campus is good but no tourism nearby.
- There is lack of transport. Only buses are available.
- Una is a developing city and lags in few aspects.

- The infrastructure of IIIT UNA is good as compared to other IIIT formed at same year. IIIT UNA has permanent campus, hostels are good and well maintained, mess food are good as compared to other colleges.
- Sports facilities-There are 7 badminton court, 2 basketball court, 1 big football ground, lawn tennis court. Sports is encourage here. Gym facilities is also provided. YALGAAR our sports fest is conducted to encourage sports.
- The facilities and course curriculum is updated . All the facilities are well qualified in there respective fields. And teach very well
Dislikes
- Fees is one of the big concern of almost all students of the college , as an institute of national importance they are charging too much fees, as compared with NIT , and other government colleges.
- Lack of coding culture- It is based on my experience that I found the absence of coding culture in the college, as I have heard online, no hackerthons or competition are conducted to encourage coding.oding clubs are dead and only sports encouraged.
- Lack of senior, junior interaction- Senior do not interact with juniors and do not guide. The girls : boys ration in our college is very bad is about 1:35. College has a strict 75% criteria which consumes very much time.
Placement Experience:
The campus placement of IIIT UNA is good.
The highest package of 2023 in IIIT Una was 60 lpa(off campus) and 45 lpa (on campus) . The average pakage was 15 lpa , and around 90 % of the student got placed, during the placement drive. The average pakage of IT department was 16 lpa. A full semester is dedicated for internship and to earn work experience. Many companies like Google, Facebook, nvidia,Amazon etc appeared into placement drive.I am also targeting such FANG companies.

- For IT programs and CSE programs IIITs are as good as IITs and our college ranks even higher than newly established IITs.
- The college is surrounded by hills and gives you the most scenic view of the campus.
- The industry connections of IIIT Una is as good as any other colleges and therefore we have 100% placement record since it's first pass out batch of 2018

IIIT Una was established in 2014 and now in 2024 the university has built the strongest industry connect. From Google to India's giant such as Infosys have ensured that we get placements of at least 10 lakhs CTC.

- The subjects and topics in Curriculum is very helpfull and based on present and future Demands.
- The Campus life is so amazing with all sports ground.
- The Hostel and Hostel rooms are very clean.
Dislikes
- The Connectivity for the college is quit disappointing.
- In Hostels all the rooms are three seaters accept 2-3 rooms in a Hostel.
- Gym is very small in size with respect to people in the gym .
Placement Experience:
Campus offers campus Placements and internship for any year of college. Placements are good but not satisfactory at present but hope good in few years.

Highest Placement = 32,00,000/-

- The greenery in the campus around which makes us feel like yesss we have done something to achieve this.
- The academic teachers are very polite and humble .
- There are all sports facilities we need here.
Dislikes
- Distance of campus from the city due to which if we need something we need go outside which is far from campus.
- Much restrictions which maybe good for college perspective but feels very bad for us
Placement Experience:
Placement is very good in our college. From 6th sem Students starts getting placement offers .
Companies like Amazon. Google, servicenow and much more have visited our college.highes package of our branch in year 2023-24 is 35 and average is 10.44 and median is 8 lpa. 58.62 students got placed this year .

- Hostel rooms are big enough , 3 students share a single room and each room is occupied with bed , table chair and a cupboard also a balcony.
- Mess food is decent enough and the quality keeps on increasing.
- The college infrastructure is good with almost all the facilities.
Dislikes
- New hostels should be built to increase the intake of students
- Attendance criteria of 75% is concerning as we get very less free time in first year .
- Some of the faculties are a bit irritating but some are good too

- The seniors are very supportive and friendly.

- The course structure is bit irrelevantt.
Placement Experience:
The placements here are good. The average package in the year 2023 was around 15 lakhs with Highest package of 60 lakhs per annum and in the recession year 2024 it was near 10 lakhs per annum. On campus placements are offered here.
