Admission Deadlines

The university provides an array of courses for international students and follows a rolling admissions policy for its undergraduate applicants. However, the institute does offer strict application deadlines for its graduate students. These students are required to submit their applications prior to the deadlines to avoid late fees charges.

International Students Admissions

The university has mandated that all its applicants must have completed secondary education with a college preparatory curriculum, fulfilled the minimum grade point equivalency, provided required official academic records, met the appropriate deadlines, and verified financial support for one academic year. Admission Requirements: International applicants must satisfy the following requirements in order to be eligible for the university:

  • A completed application with all the required details.
  • All examination results, marks, transcripts or grade sheets of secondary school, post-secondary college or university attended.
  • For freshman applicants, a cumulative GPA equivalent to at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale with secondary school completion.
  • U.S.-equivalent cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale for transfer students.
  • IELTS, TOEFL scores and college-level credit hours for proof of English proficiency.

Visa Process for International Students

International students require a student visa to study in the USA and attend school. The students can apply for the visa by the completion of DS-160 Form online along with the digital upload of one formatted photo. Next, visit the U.S. Embassy website to schedule an interview appointment with the payment of the required fees. Aspirants will be required the following documents for a visa interview:

  • Form I-20 from the institute
  • Fee receipt for the 200 USD SEVIS fee
  • Proof of current financial ability
  • TOEFL and IELTS score
  • Evidence of intent to depart U.S. after the completion of studies
  • Passport valid for at least six months
  • Printed barcode page from a completed DS-160 Form
  • Two 2”x 2” photographs in the prescribed format
  • Print out of a visa application processing fee receipt

Hence, students are also required to submit any other documents by their local US embassy to execute the visa interview without any further delay.

The university offers Undergraduate Admissions in 27 different disciplines. It provides rolling admissions for undergraduate applicants but they are recommended to complete the application by annual priority deadline i.e., January 15.
