Campus

  • The institute is nestled on a 124-acre campus situated in the heart of Pasadena at the foot of the prestigious San Gabriel Mountains,
  • The campus is 10 miles northeast of Los Angeles and 30 miles from the ocean.
  • Seven miles away from the campus is the Caltech-managed Jet Propulsion Laboratory Facility also known as JPL.
  • Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is the leading research center for robotic exploration of the solar system in the United States.
  • Its Seismological Laboratory located on the school campus is the global preeminent source for earthquake information.
  • There are more than 50 student clubs and sports organizations and 16 Division III varsity teams.

Housing Facilities/Residence

  • The institute guarantees housing for all first-year graduate students and all freshmen and second-year undergraduate students.
  • It offers a full range of on-campus housing options to Undergraduate and graduate students
  • There’s a mix of single, double, and triple-bedrooms in nine undergraduates’ residence housing.

Scholarships/Financial Aid

The university provides various awards and scholarships for international students to study in the USA.. Over 98% of graduate students are offered a package of merit-based financial support. The Institute is need-sensitive for international applicants and as such does not offer merit-based scholarships or financial aid

There are opportunities (although limited) for graduate students to engage in teaching assistantships or research assistantships. . Students can work while studying at the institute for 16 hours a week and earn up to 33 USD per hour. Applicants are encouraged to seek financial support from external sources
