How to check DU PG Merit List 2020

• Visit the official website of DU (du.ac.in)
• Go to the Postgraduate Admissions section.
• Click on “PG Admission List”.
• All the released DU PG admission lists will appear on the screen.
• Select the admission list you want to check.
• Select the course for which the DU PG 2020 merit list is sought.
• A PDF file will be opened which will include details such as a candidate's name, roll number, marks and rank secured in the DU PG entrance examination.
• Download and take a printout of admission list for future reference.

DU PG 2020 Merit List - How to break the Tie

The below-mentioned tie-breaking is for entranced based and is same in case of Merit-based admission in DU PG.

1. Candidates with higher % of marks in the qualifying examination will be offered admission first in a case where more than one candidate obtain equal marks in the entrance exam of DU PG.

2. For candidates securing the same marks in qualifying examination, admission in DU PG will be offered in the following order of preference.

   1. Candidates having higher % in graduation final year.

   2. Having a higher aggregate of marks (5 subjects including one language) in 12th board exam.

   3. Having a higher % in an examination prior to graduation final year and so on.

What After DU PG 2020 Merit List is Released?

Candidates whose names appear in the DU PG merit list 2020 are required to visit their designated college for a document verification process, where the university officials will examine the candidate's original documents in order to check their eligibility and other requirements. The allotment of seats in the admission list is based on the candidate's rank and depends on the availability of seats in the respective departments or colleges. They also have to pay the admission fee for the approval of their seats. Candidates will be invited to verify the document on their respective documents after the announcement of each merit list. Candidates may note that the name on the merit list does not imply admission of the candidate until the documents have been verified by the competent authority.
