How to Register for OJEE 2026 Counselling

The entire OJEE 2026 counselling process is web-based. Students complete registration, choice filling and online reporting through the admissions portal without visiting any centre until document verification. Follow these steps to register:

1. Go to the official admissions portal at admissions.nic.in/OJEE.
2. Click New Registration and enter your OJEE 2026 roll number, date of birth and other credentials to create a counselling login.
3. Log in and open the counselling registration form. Fill personal details, contact information and qualifying exam details accurately.
4. Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph and signature in the format prescribed on the portal (JPG, within the specified size limits).
5. Pay the non-refundable counselling registration fee of Rs 450 via net banking, debit card or UPI. Save the payment receipt.
6. Take a printout of the completed registration form and payment acknowledgement for your records.
7. After registration, proceed to the choice filling section to select and rank preferred programs and institutions.

Students who qualified in a previous OJEE cycle but did not complete counselling must re-register for the current round using their OJEE 2026 credentials.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Process

Choice filling is the step where you select and rank preferred courses and colleges. The OJEE system uses your rank, reservation category and submitted choices to generate allotments across three rounds.

1. Fill choices: Log in to the admissions portal and go to the choice filling section. Add courses and institutions in your preferred order. You can add, delete or rearrange choices until the auto-lock deadline of June 29, 2026.
2. Review mock allotment: A mock allotment is displayed on June 27, 2026 so students can preview their likely seat based on choices filled up to that point. This does not confirm any allotment.
3. Lock choices: Choices auto-lock on June 29, 2026. Review your preference list carefully before this deadline as no changes are permitted after locking.
4. Round 1 allotment: Results are released on July 2, 2026. Log in to view your allotted seat.
5. Online reporting: If allotted a seat, report online by July 7, 2026. Pay the part admission fee and upload required documents through the portal to hold the seat.
6. Document verification: Visit the designated nodal centre with original documents for physical verification. Admission is confirmed only after successful verification.
7. Rounds 2 and 3: Unfilled and surrendered seats are offered in Round 2 (July 15) and Round 3 (July 30). Students not allotted in earlier rounds may participate subject to the board’s rules.

OJEE 2026 Counselling Fee Details

OJEE 2026 counselling involves two separate payments. The registration fee is paid during online registration; the part admission fee is paid only after receiving a seat allotment.

The part admission fee is fully refundable if you formally withdraw your seat before the board’s official withdrawal deadline. Students who do not report online after receiving allotment forfeit the part admission fee.
