OJEE 2019 Exam Pattern, Course-wise Syllabus, Marking Scheme

OJEE Exam Pattern 2019 - The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board will issue the updated paper pattern for the exam. OJEE 2019 will be conducted on May 12 in both online and offline mode. It is a gateway to 1st year undergraduate degree, 1st year post graduate degree and later entry programs.

  • OJEE Exam Pattern varies course-wise. 
  • The questions paper consists objective type questions.
  • For every correct answer, +4 marks are awarded, while -1 mark is deducted for an incorrect answer.

OJEE It must be noted that B.Tech/B.Arch admissions will be facilitated through JEE Main 2019 and NEET scores will be used for MBBS/BDS admissions.

OJEE is taken by students seeking admissions in about 10 programs (inclusive of undergraduate and postgraduate courses). The course-wise exam pattern is discussed below.

1. OJEE Exam Pattern 2019 for B.Pharm/BAMS/BHMS

  • Duration: 3 hours

4. OJEE Exam Pattern 2019 for M.Pharm and LE Diploma in Pharmacy

  • For admissions to the M.Pharm and LE Diploma in Pharmacy programs, candidates must appear for 1 hour test.
  • There are a total of 60 MCQs in this test.
  • The questions are framed from the various pharmacy concepts.

5. OJEE Exam Pattern 2019 for LE B.Sc. (+3 Sc/ B.Sc.)

  • Duration: 1 hours
  • Total Question: 60

Marking Scheme of OJEE 2019

  • Though the question paper pattern (duration of the exam, number of subjects/sections and number of questions asked) for the 3 sessions is different, OJEE marking scheme is the same throughout.
  • Every correct answer is awarded with 4 marks.
  • There is negative marking scheme in place and 1 mark is deducted for wrong answers.

OJEE Syllabus 2019

Candidates need to be aware of the subjects and sections involved in each session of OJEE 2019 and what each section is designed to test. This will help candidates to tackle each section with the right approach at the time of preparation.

As discussed above, the paper pattern for each course is different, and so is the syllabus. OJEE is a common entrance exam that admits students to several undergraduate, masters and lateral entry courses in Odisha. For undergraduate courses, the level is till class XII. Important Instructions 

  1. Examination center gates will be opened half an hour before the scheduled start of the examination. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the hall once the examination starts.
  2. Candidates must not leave the examination hall before the examination is over.
  3. Valid OJEE Admit Card is necessary and entry inside the examination hall will be denied without the Admit Card.
  4. Candidates must get the blue/black ball point pen to the hall for filling the circles in the OMR sheets. Pens will not be provided in the examination hall.
  5. Candidates are allowed to take the carbon copy (2nd copy) of the OMR after submitting the primary OMR.
  6. Mobile phones or any electronic devices are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  7. The candidates are not allowed to bring any charts/tables/papers to the examination hall.
  8. Upon receiving the question booklet and answer sheets, candidates must thoroughly inspect every page and report to the conducting authorities immediately, if anything is found to be missing.
