Admission Process

Application process for admission at Centennial College is explained in a few easy steps as follows:

  1. Choose up to 3 programs of preference from a list of hundreds of full- and part-time courses.
  2. Complete an online application form at the official website.
  3. Provide all the necessary information including language proficiency scores like TOEFL or equivalent, Portfolio (if required), the last 4 digits of your passport number and city of your birth, aomg others.
  4. Send the scanned copies of all the mandatory documents like high-school transcripts via email to interapp@centennialcollege.ca (Indian applicants must send their copies to bangalore@centennialcollege.ca).
  5. Wait for your offer of place. Pay your tuition fee and other deposits post receiving the acceptance package.
  6. Apply for a study permit using offer letter, fee receipt and other documents at the nearest Canadian embassy.

English Proficiency Requirements

Since English is the primary medium of instruction at the institute, applicants whose first language is not English may need to meet certain language proficiency standards by submitting one of the following tests as a valid proof. The minimum score required for various courses differs as per the type and level of that particular program.

Visa Application Process

International aspirants enrolling in a course of duration longer than 6 months require a study permit and visa to study in Canada. They can be easily obtained by visiting the nearest Canadian Embassy. However, the entire process can be a few months long and thus, should be applied for at the earliest after receiving an offer of place.

Following documents are mandatorily required while applying for a permit:

  • An acceptance letter from the Canadian Institute.
  • An identity proof i.e., a valid passport.
  • 2 passport size photographs.
  • Proof that the applicants can support themselves financially.
  • Letter of explanation (this will help the visa officer understand your intentions for going to Canada).

Presently, Canada is offering the Student Direct Stream (SDS) to the legal citizens of a few countries (China, India, Philippines, and Vietnam). Through this, the applicants of these countries can receive their study permits within 20 days. To be eligible for this, applicants must submit certain specifications including:

  • proof of first-year tuition fee payment.
  • Guaranteed Investment Certificate of 7,500 USD.
