The Humber College (HC) admissions are available to applicants worldwide in the seasons of Fall, Winter, and Spring. One of the prestigious Canadian institute renowned for its postsecondary education, HC enrollsover 26,000 full-time students in its diverse programs.

Humber College also welcomes some 5,600 international applicants representing 138 countries across the globe and becomes their home for upcoming years. Humber College Deadlines

Humber College offers more than 190 programs at the level of degree, diploma, associate diploma, and certificates. The deadlines for upcoming admissions for different programs are as follows:

International Applicants

International aspirants must note that the deadlines for intake to various courses at Humber College are not fixed and vary tremendously. Candidates must check the availability of space into a program before applying.

Applications for intake into Fall 2020 will be available from mid-November, 2019.

Domestic Applicants

Domestic candidates must submit their online applications by February 1. Applications received post this date shall be considered but only on the availability of seats via first-come-first-serve basis.

Humber College International Admissions

Application Fee: 75 CAD.

Basic Academic Requirement: High-school Certificate.

Additional Admission-Related Requirements

  • Fill an online application at the official website.
  • Provide scanned copies of academic transcripts, with a minimum score of 70 or above in the subjects of the required program.
  • TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent score.
  • Letter of permission granted from the previously attended institution.
  • Financial and bank statement.
  • Some programs may require a portfolio, audition, letter of intent, references, among others.

English Proficiency Requirements

Humber College offers programs where English is the language of instruction, and thus, meeting proficiency in the English language is a mandatory requirement. Candidates coming from countries where English is not the native language, enrolment is possible only if they meet the required language specifications. Note: A candidate may be released from submitting the above-mentioned test scores if he/she can submit a proof of minimum 2 years in a degree/diploma program or post-secondary institution, where English was the medium of instruction.

Humber College Visa Application Process

Visa process is one of the most crucial steps of the admission process for any international aspirant. Candidates applying for a visa to Canada for admission into Humber College will have to send a request for a study permit to the institution. But prior to it, aspirants will have to apply for a temporary visa through the Canadian consulate, High Commission or Embassy. This temporary visa is to be used for acquiring study permit from HC.

Documents required for a temporary visa:

  • Valid passport.
  • Specified application fee (billed in CND).
  • Offer of admission.
  • Evidence of sufficient funds.
  • Medical exam.

Complete the process and submit the documents to Case Processing Center in Ottawa, Ontario.

Note: Candidates will later have to upload the IMM 5257 Form. The entire process may take up to at least three months.

Humber College Undergraduate Admissions

Humber College offers its aspirants an option of variety of undergraduate programs in an array of disciplines to choose from. With around 30 degree programs, 87 diplomas and 20 certificate courses, HC is a favorite among applicants with its vide options of courses. Admission-Related Requirements:

While basic admission requirements for undergraduate programs are same as that of international admissions, other important admission-related information is as follows:

  • Grade 12 diploma is the minimum requirement for admission for all Canadian provinces, excluding Quebec (Secondary V required).
  • For Grade 12 courses, Grade 11 academic scores must be submitted.
  • conditional offer on the basis of Grade 11 marks is permissible, given candidates submit proof of Grade 12 courses prior to beginning of term.

Postsecondary Diploma and Certificate Admissions

Humber College offers some 87 diplomas and advanced diplomas and over 20 certificate courses which are available in diverse fields. Some of the major diploma and certificate programs favored by applicants are:
