Course Curriculum Overview
My course curriculum was hands-on and encouraged developing various projects for my various classes. The classes were intellectually stimulating and were quite enjoyable with various intriguing concepts covered.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are either given through via the college or students can find them on their own. College offers support for students to undergo internships during the semester by offering on-duty, allowing them to miss classes.
Placement Experience
Placements at CIT are excellent compared to other similar colleges. This is because regular training that focuses on improving students' skillsets and makes them well prepared for future Campus Drives.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees every year is 230000. This includes various costs such as Tuition Fees, Transport Fees, etc. The category that I fall under is management and students that are from the merit category have lower tuition fees.
Campus Life
Campus Life is very vibrant with various events orgranized throughout the semester. A cultural event is hosted every year for 3 days with various events such as concerts and is often the event to look forward to every year.
Admission
I did not apply to any other colleges. The admission process in CIT was pretty straightforward with TNEA counselling where seats were allocated among colleges across Tamil Nadu based on your PCM aggregate.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in a regular class is 60:1. The faculties are well-versed in their respective disciplines and help the students with various queries. The marking scheme is quite lenient and there are 3 exams held across a semester.
Night Life
As I am a dayscholar, I do not have much experience about the nightlife in the college campus. There are gyms and libraries that hostellers can use after working hours and cafeterias are available throughout the day.
