One short Haldia Institute of Technology

The admission process was quite hectic as I was having my JEE mains exams also, and then my wbjee results get out soon after the results me and my friend got to know that our ranks are too close, then we searched for the colleges, and selected Halida Institute of Technology we passed the eligibility too. The eligibility of the college was in boards we need to get a minimum of 45% and we need to qualify wbjee. I got the application form from google and then fill it out. As far there are no such reservation benefits because in private college we usually don't get any reservation benefits. Yes, of course, I want to see the improvement process should be less hectic and the enrollment must be very casual.

I have chosen computer science and cybersecurity course I personally have a keen interest in this particular course so I chose it. The College has a good faculty:student ratio. Maximum faculty members are qualified enough and highly expert in their work. They also organize workshops regularly in the college itself. Exams are quite difficult need to work hard to score good marks.

TCS, Wipro, Infosys are the major company that approaches our college and other micro-companies startups, and also college in collaboration with the company provides us stipend I self got and other role part or full time are given by clubs and other staff in the college. The project and workshops provide us to create apps games and git repository and open source apps and also as an outcome we learn each and every workshop and web development.

From the 6th semester, students can sit for the placements. Every year 100 companies visit the campus. Companies like tcs, Wipro, Infosys visit. Almost 85% of students get placed. The highest package from last year was 24.6 LPA and the average goes to 4 LPA.

The fee structure is almost as same as most of the private colleges the fee amount is somewhere about 4,20,000 excluding the hostel commodities every semester there is a hike of 2000-3000 which is not that bad. It also promotes Scholarships like Swami Vivekanda Scholarship and many more. If someone is not able to pay the fees on time college also gives some relaxation in time.

Every year they conduct tech fests like trivia in which most of the colleges in West Bengal participate. There is a big library in which almost every book you can find but sometimes it gets difficult to find the recently published book for which you need to wait a bit more. The classrooms are sufficient enough for the students and even the strength of students are in a good number. Sports day is celebrated every year within the college itself which consists of the long run, short puts, and many more. There are many clubs in the college which is being run by the students of the college like a literary club, poetry clubs, bands, and even orphanage clubs.

For the second year, we have allotted TPS Hostel The meal quality of the mess is literally pathetic and even everything inside the mess is way expensive. I did not like the Registration process for the hostel you can be allotted any room with any of the random students you cannot even pre-decide your room. As such I have not rented a room but I can suggest one thing rooms in kshudiram side is safe for girls.
