The fee for students admitted by COMEDK is 2 lakh (app) and for KCET students is below 50K. That's a huge difference and likely there are not many scholarships for 1st year COMEDK students. You will not get any financial assistance too if you are not through KCET. Job on campus is not there, there are a lot of unpaid internships offers in the campus.
Fees depend on the entry through which you join the college of IR Kcet it is 1 lakh per year excluding the hostel, for Comedk students it is 2.3 lakh per year. And for management it same as Comedk except for donation that is for the CSE branch it is around 25 lakh for ISE it is 18 lakh for ECE it is 15 lakh and so on. Scholarship opportunities are very few in college.
The fee is really high considering the facilities they provide. The fee they show upon Comedk site doesn't comprise of hidden fees that are charged at the time of admission. Living expenses are affordable. Name of scholarships are Merit and Means scholarship, Krishna P Godasi Scholarship which are only for Kcet aspirants (only Karnataka state residents)
Financial assistance is next to zero. Majorly Mass recruiters visit the campus with very few being placed in good companies. Most people apply off-campus. The average package is 7.5 lac as quoted on the website. Stipend in around 5k.
The fees under the K-CET seat were 68360 in the second year and in the third year it is 68860. The hike is very considerate. Under the merit category, a student can complete his studies in the college at a cost of about 6L considering that he stays at the college in a campus hostel.
See there is a fair fee policy for whole COMETK students which is now 198500 which is a yearly basis. And it can't be increased in the near year. There are few scholarships but mostly for Karnataka students for outsiders, it's not. Moreover talking about jobs it's a very good opportunity to have a job because 109 companies are here comes in my branch. You get an internship and stipend also in this branch if you studied well. So overall it's good in the placement sector.
