I was interested in telecommunications. The faculty-student ratio was about 1:10. Exams are conducted once in 6 months, exams were neither tough nor easy.
I chose the ISE course due to the interest that the world of IT had created in me, also I followed the footsteps of my well-wishers, seniors, and relatives. The ISE department is a very sophisticated department that is lead by a very able HOD who plans many workshops, seminars, and various activities in association with the industry, in an effort to inculcate the best industry practices among the students. The teachers at the department are well qualified and supportive of the students and proctor students on a regular basis to ensure the optimum performance of the student. The syllabus of the course is in line with industry requirements and keeps changing accordingly.
Our syllabus was updated and for more industrial collaboration they are providing add on courses for us. And for us they giving international taxation course with collaboration of EY and getting chances of doing internship also these courses are really free of cost. Our faculty members are very experienced and well dedicated they are really moulding us as a future manager.
This course I got because of my marks, but I had a very good interest in medical as well as electronic so I prefer this. Faculty are awesome in my branch over 15 are there. All facilities qualified which max is PhD and min is M.Tech. The exams are two internal which is in between semester and one end semester. It's easy to pass u have to score 40/100. So teachers are liberal too.
Program fee is categorised into 2. One category for karnataka students other one is for non karnataka students. for MBA they have charged around 5 Lakhs including donation and everything. And they accept it through DD. No cash or card payment is accepted.
It is better and yet not the best. College should provide more in hand experiences by providing mandatory summer internships. College has lot of programs like management fest, cultural fests, work shops, those really helps students to brush up their extra curricular activities and knowledge.
I dont remember fee structure much but it is feasible for most of the students. Additional fee like exam fee, ACE fee are to be paid every year. Along with all this, small expenses like payment for farewells, lab book given by college are there. Mode of payment if annual fee is easy and includes options like rtgs, neft, online payment, dd etc.
Exam structure is good and college dont want you to fail. As it is autonomous they give marks and set papers that every one get pass. For new batch they take 2 internals of 30 marks and their avg is taken plus 2 assignments or quiz or any other thinga for 10 marks each Total of 50 marks from internals in which if you score above 45 and attendance is above 75% then you can give make up exam (exam you give when you fail finals so that it wont become backlog, a kind of 2md chance). Curriculum is good to get placed if they taught well.
Since I got through Karnataka common entrance exam my college fee was feasible, it was 56050 during my first year (2014) and then for the rest 3 years it was around 50000 and we had to pay exam fees around 2000 per semester Mode of payment: beside the college we had Vijaya bank we used to pay in Bank.
Curriculum is groomed to provide industry specific knowledge if you are going to start your career in electronics and telecommunications domain otherwise if you are starting your career with software industry then it's very less equipped with industry specific knowledge.
5 lakhs is charged for 2 years. This does not include transport or stay or exam fees, any project related stuff and participation fees for different fests. The fest amount is separate and exam fees as well. Also, uniform amount was charged from us separately.
1) New syllabus every year 2) Syllabus as per industry standards 3) Projects & assignments in real time 4) Soft skills 5) Attending placement classes hosted by college 6) Encouragement to participate in inter college management fests 7) Internship support
frequent industrial exposure maintains uptown date information about working environment and updates in technology providing knowledge about various companies organizes internship test to provide exposure.
Especially in mechanical branch is very good as compare to other branches, the faculties provide advance academic knowledgeas well as technical knowledge to all students the syllabus is more as compared to other engineering college, and prof P B Nagaraj is one of the good lecture in all faculties.
