Masters of Philosophy in Tourism or M. Phil. in Tourism is a 1 year full time course. The minimum eligibility requisite for this course is a Master's degreein concerned subject with minimum 55% marks.

Tuition fee for this course ranges from 10 thousand INR to 20 thousand INR, if you do it full-time from a reputed college or University.

After completion of this course, many of the colleges give placements in sectors such as hospitality, shipping, aviation andtourism. Some of the companies that hire the graduates of this course are Thomas Cook, Cox & Kings, IRCTC, SOTC Travel, Make My Trip, etc. Initially an individual may earn salary between 15 thousand INR to 30 thousand INR.
