CET Delhi Polytechnic 2020 Application Form, Dates, Fee and Procedure

    CET Delhi 2020 is conducted by Board of Technical Education for admission to various courses in Delhi Polytechnic. The CET Delhi 2020 application process will be started from April 01, 2020 to April 30, 2020. Candidates who wish to apply can visit the official website of CET to complete the application procedure. Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with 45% aggregate marks from a recognized board/university. CET Delhi 2020 Exam will be conducted on June 8 and 9 th, 2020. Admit cards for the same is available from a week before the exam.

    During the CET Delhi 2020 Application Process, candidates will have to upload documents such as photograph, signatures and thumb impression in specified dimensions. The application form can be filled through online as well as offline mode.

    CET Delhi 2020 Important Dates

    Although the official dates have been declared, CET Delhi 2020 Application Procedure will be started from April 01, 2020 to April 30, 2020. CET Delhi 2020 exam will be conducted on 8th and 9th June , 2020. Candidates are able to get the admit cards from last week of May.     CET Delhi 2020 Eligibility Overview

    The candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to appear for CET Delhi 2020. Although the eligibility for each of the five courses for which, CET Delhi 2020 is conducted, is different but the basic eligibility conditions have been stated below for candidate’s convenience:

    • Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for reserved categories) from CBSE board or equivalent.
    • Candidates who wish to apply for Engineering/Technology based Diploma Courses and Occupational Courses must have passed class 10th examination or some equivalent exams with 35% aggregate marks at least.
    • Age relaxations are provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC and PwD categories.

    General Instructions about CET Delhi 2020 Form Filling

    There are several general instructions that must be followed by candidates who wish to appear for CET Delhi 2020 test. Given below are the instructions given by Department of Training and Technical Education:

    • Access the official website of CET Delhi to fill the online Application Form.
    • Candidates must fill all the mandatory details carefully.
    • New candidates will have to perform registration steps first and then proceed to the application form filling procedure.
    • Candidates can pay the application fee both through online as well as offline mode. If you choose to pay online, keep your credit/debit card ready.
    • Candidates must get scanned copy of a photograph, signatures and thumb impression.

    Instructions for filling CET Delhi 2020 Application form

    CET Delhi 2020 Application Form can fill by visiting the official website. Given below are the steps to fill the CET Delhi 2020 Application Form:

    • Fill the Registration Form: New users will be required to register for the CET Delhi 2020 exam. Candidates will be required to choose the test number for which they wish to appear. Fill all the details required for registration to obtain Registration Number and password.
    • Fill the Application Form: Once the Registration number and password have been obtained, use them to sign and fill the application form. In the application form, candidates will have to fill personal details, course application details, educational details and communication details.

    After filling these details click on the declaration box and click on “final submit”.

    • Upload required documents: You will be redirected to a new page after completing the application form. Secure the application number and proceed to the next step i.e. uploading the documents. Candidates must upload passport size photograph, signatures and thumb impression according to the specified dimensions.
    • Pay the Examination fee: a new page will appear after uploading the documents and candidate will be asked to choose the mode of payment. If candidate chooses to pay online through credit/debit card, he/she will have to enter particulars such as card number, expiration date, card holder name, etc.

    For candidates choosing to pay examination fee offline, a challan will be generated. Candidates must take the print out of challan to corporation bank and submit the fee.

    CET Delhi 2020 Application Fee

    Once the application form is completely filled and the documents have been uploaded, candidate is redirected to a new page where he/she is asked to choose from among two options, online mode of payment or offline mode of payment. Here are the details for both the modes of payment of CET Delhi 2020 Application Fee:

    Online Mode

    If a candidate chooses to pay CET Delhi 2020 Application Fee online, he/she must keep debit/credit card ready. Candidate will have to enter details such as card number, expiration date and card holder’s name. Click on “make payment” to pay the application fee finally.

    Offline Mode

    Candidates who wish to pay through offline mode will get a challan which will be generated automatically. Candidate must take out the print of automatically generated challan and go to the nearby Corporation Bank. The fee status of the applicant will be updated within 48 hours of the submission of fees.

    Important Document Required for CET Delhi 2020

    Candidates will be required to attach some important documents while filling the application form of CET Delhi 2020. If a candidate fails to attach these documents, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled. The required documents are as follows:

    • A passport size photo
    • Signatures
    • Thumb Impression

    Candidates will have to fill in

    • Personal Details: Name of the candidate, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Religion, State, etc.
    • Educational Qualifications: Pass status, course/stream name, Board/University name, Year of passing, marks, roll number and institute’s details.
    • Communication details: Address, mobile number, email address.

    The application fee can be filled through online mode. To pay the application fee through online mode candidate will be required to have card holder’s name, expiration date and name on the card.
