MCAER PG CET 2020 Exam Pattern, Syllabus and Marking Scheme

    MCAER PG CET is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year by Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education & Research. The exam is for candidates seeking post-graduation degree in various fields of agriculture. It is 120 minutes long test with multiple type questions.

    • MCAER PG CET 2020 will be conducted from the second week of March in offline mode at 14 centres only in Maharashtra.
    • The syllabus of the examination comprises of topics from the syllabus of UG in agriculture like Horticulture, Agricultural Extension, Animal Science & Dairy Science, etc. Check MCAER PG CET Syllabus
    • This test carries 70% weightage in the selection process. Rest 30% weightage is given to candidates score in under graduation.
    • Interested candidates can apply for the exam online on the official website mcaer.org.

    MCAER PG CET 2020 Exam Pattern

    The state level exam is conducted in offline mode. Candidates have to mark their answers in the OMR sheet provided to them during the exam. Details related to exam pattern are listed below-

    • The question paper consists of 200 questions from various topics of agriculture covered in the bachelor’s course.
    • Each question is of 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
    • The questions are not divided into any sections. There is also no set number of questions from a topic.
    • 1 mark will be given to candidates for every accurate answer.
    • The duration of the entrance examination is 120 minutes.

    MCAER PG CET Marking Scheme

    There is no negative marking for incorrectly answered questions. This gives test takers an edge to take guesses and they can attempt the entire paper, if they want. For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded 1 mark. Scoring well in this test is important as it holds a weightage of 70% in the selection process of candidates.

    There show that Agricultural biotechnology but this is changed to b.tech biotechnology so we have to study that same book and syllabus
