Lysosomes are spherical sac structures present in cells. The function of Lysosomes is to help break down worn-out cell organelle and destroy outside material such as bacteria. Lysosomes are found in animal cells. Due to this reason, lysosomes are called the waste disposal system of the cell and also the digestive bags of the cell. 

The absence of lysosomes will lead to animal cells not being able to digest food and won't be able to protect themselves from foreign materials like bacteria, viruses. Hence, they are an important part of animal cells.
