Examples of Class 7 Chapter 12 Algebraic Expressions

Ques 1. Multiply 4(2x+3).

Ans. To multiply the algebraic expression, multiply the constant number with every term of the other algebraic expression.

4(2x+3) = 8x +12

Ques 2. Multiply (2x - 3)(3x + 3)

Ans. To multiply the 2 algebraic expression, multiply each term of the expression with each term of the other expression.

(2x-3)(3x+3) = 6x2 + 6x -9x -9

→ 6x2 -3x -9

Divide the expression by 3.

→ 2x2 -x -3
