Example From Class 7 Chapter 4 Simple Equations

Ques. Find the unknown variables in the following equations:

  1. 3n + 7 = 25
  2. 3l = 42

Ans.

  1. 3n + 7 = 25

Simplifying the equation further we get,

3n = 25-7

Therefore, 

3n = 18

Hence,

n= 6 

  1. 3l = 42

Simplifying the equation further we get,

l = 42/3

Hence,

l = 14
