How to Check NIMCET Result 2027

The rank card will be available only on the official portal — nimcet.admissions.nic.in. There is no SMS or email delivery. You need your registration number and password to log in. In 2026, the rank card download window closed just 4 days after result declaration — the same day as the counselling choice-filling deadline. What to Do After NIMCET Result 2027

Once the result is out, everything moves to counselling on nimcet.admissions.nic.in. No separate reporting to individual NITs is needed at this stage. Here is the typical sequence, based on the 2026 counselling cycle.

1. Download your rank card the day the result is declared — the download window closes within 4–5 days (coincides with the choice-filling deadline).
2. Register for counselling and pay the registration fee (Rs. 1,000 non-refundable in 2026) — registration opens the day after result declaration.
3. Fill and lock institute-programme preferences by the given deadline — rank all 13 participating institutes in your preferred order. The same preference list applies across all general counselling rounds, so review carefully before locking.
4. Check seat allotment results — Round 1 comes first, followed by Rounds 2 and 3 roughly every 5 days.
5. Accept your allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee (Rs. 10,000 non-refundable in 2026) to confirm the seat.
6. Upload documents online through the portal for pre-verification during the counselling phase.
