TISSNET Accepting Institutes 2018

TISS is a national level exam which is held in 39 cities across the states of India. TISSNET 2017 offers admission to its full-time regular Post Graduate courses for the 2017-2019 academic batch. TISS has 4 campuses as its TISS Participating colleges The below-mentioned colleges accept the TISS result and admit students based on their performance in all rounds of the selection criteria.

TISS Mumbai Campus

TISS Mumbai campus has 2 campuses namely- Main campus and Malti and Jal A.D. Naoroji Campus. Both of these campuses are located in Deonar in the North-East Section of Greater Mumbai. The Main Campus houses most of the Schools, Centres, and the Administration. It has 7 schools, 6 Independent Centres, and 3 resources center as mentioned below:-

  1. School of Vocational Education- This institute will be used for conducting training programmes in different trades through partnerships with many industrial and service sectors.
  2. School of Education- It has 2 centers in Education mainly for Indian languages in Higher Education
  3. School of Social Work- It has 8 centers in the field of Community Organization and Development Practice, Disability Studies, and action, Criminology and Justice, Equity and Justice for Children and families, Women-Centered Social work, Social Justice and Governance, Livelihood and Social Entrepreneurship, and Health and Mental Health.
  4. School of Development Studies- It includes 6 centers for Study of Developing Economics, Habitat and Human Development, Population, Health and Development, Public Policy, Social Theory, Study of Developing Societies, Advanced Centre for Women’s studies.
  5. School of Law, Rights and Constitutional Governance-has 2 Centers in Law and Society; and Nodal Centre for Excellence in Human Rights Education.

  9. School of Health Systems Studies- It has 4 Centers namely Health and Social Sciences; Health Policy Planning and Management; Hospital Management; Public Health.
  10. School of Habitat Studies has 4 Centers in Urban Policy, Planning, and Governance; Science Technology and Society; Water Policy, Regulation, and Governance; Climate Change and Sustainability.

Tuljapur Campus

This campus was established with a vision of establishing as unique and prominent campus for developing and applying knowledge in the field of social sciences and social work. The campus first started a Bachelor Degree Programme in Social work in the year 2004. However in 2010, it started a new programme in Social work in the specialization of rural development. In the academic session 2012-13, a 5-year integrated course in social sciences was introduced followed by PG Diploma in water, Sanitation, and Hygiene. In the year 2014-15, 3 more new courses started namely M.A/M.Sc. in Development Policy, Planning, and Practice, M.A./M.Sc. in sustainable livelihoods & Natural Resources Governance , M.A. in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Additionally Integrated M.Phil/Ph.D. and Direct Ph.D. were introduced.

Hyderabad Campus

TISS Hyderabad was developed with a vision of achieving a global standing in high-quality education, research which will help in building peaceful and secure society.

The Hyderabad Campus of TISS is off-campus set up to strengthen social sciences Education from new states in India. It is recognized by the University Grants Commission. Currently, it has 2 campuses- one in TSIPRD Campus, Rajendra Nagar and other one in Roda Mistry College of Social work, Gochibawli

  1. M.A. in Research, Management, and Entrepreneurship in Health- This course has 20 seats. The minimum eligibility is that candidate should hold a minimum 3 years Bachelor degree.
