All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has opened MSc Counselling 2026. The choice filling window is currently live on the official portal at aiimsexams.ac.in. Candidates must fill and lock their institute and programme preferences before the deadline.

The Round 1 provisional seat allotment result will be released shortly after the choice-filling process. Selected candidates will then need to accept their allotted seat online. Detailed reporting instructions will be issued next.

• Open the MSc Counselling 2026 link available on the dashboard.
• Add the preferred institutes and programmes in the correct order of priority.
• Carefully review the sequence of the choice list.
• Click the Lock button before July 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
• Download and save the choice confirmation page for future reference.

What Happens After the Round 1 Seat Allotment?

Candidates who receive a seat must confirm their acceptance online through the AIIMS portal. They will be provided with a reporting window for completing the admission process at the allotted AIIMS institute.

During reporting, the institute will verify the candidate’s original documents. Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seat may choose the upgrade option in the subsequent counselling rounds.

Candidates who fail to report within the specified deadline may lose their allotted seat. Such vacant seats will be offered to eligible candidates in the next counselling round.
